Look pal there is a NL and an AL. Each league has a best hitting team. Clearly this year that was the Texas Rangers and the St Louis Cardinals. Thus they were the two best hitting teams. Whatever troll the fuck on. 10/19/2011 11:29:06 AM |
hey now Indianapolis Jones 14975 Posts user info edit post |
St. Louis was 14th in the NL in triples. Not to mention they were only 6th in homers. So in the two most important batting stats, (based on total bases) they were average/borderline terrible.
Their THR score was .840. Horrible.
You're the one trolling. I'm just stating facts. ] 10/19/2011 11:37:00 AM |

Oh really? What team pray tell led the NL in runs this year? And add to that they don't hit in Coors Field, Citizens Bank, or Great American Ballpark half their games.
[Edited on October 19, 2011 at 1:35 PM. Reason : I don't need to look up my stats fanboy. Triples is a really telling stat!]
[Edited on October 19, 2011 at 1:38 PM. Reason : 6 regulars hit .296 or higher]
[Edited on October 19, 2011 at 1:48 PM. Reason : Just looked the San Diego Padres led the NL with 42 triples, what a power offense!] 10/19/2011 1:34:21 PM |

Highest batting average, OBP, slugging and OPS in the NL all while striking out the least amount.
They led in TOTAL BASES. You have no clue what the fuck you are talking about.
Get the fuck out. 10/19/2011 1:40:37 PM |

hahah i agree with you packboozie but it was funny that one part...
"i dont need to look up my stats fanboy."
then you followed with
"just looked up the Padres led the NL with 42 triples"
Just came off funny... But these are the best two offenses getting to square off 10/19/2011 2:17:38 PM |

hey now is dumbass. Who gives a fuck about triples? Seriously half of the triples are flukes caused by a bad bounce or an OF taking a bad angle. They don't mean shit.
And Packboozie is correct that the Cards are the best offense in the NL. 10/19/2011 5:38:14 PM |

regarding Dirk being denied the first pitch opportunity, this quote was funny to me
Quote : | "Nowitzki, who was the MVP of the NBA Finals, is a diehard Rangers fan who says he watches "every playoff game" and attended Game 6 of the American League Championship Series." |
ha, 2 minutes after I read that, the Rangers have decided they will let Dirk throw the first pitch Game 3
