I still think Abraham could have died last season as he did in the comics, but this does a great job putting Negan over as the huge villain. Casual fans seemed to be delirious over 2 deaths haha.

I liked the "chop Khorl's arm off Rick" addition, that was a nice touch, don't recall that being in the comics, or the RV scene at that.

See I though the Negan/Khorl relationship was great, really liked that part of it.

But yeah Daryl is definitely going to be the reason Dwight betrays Negan. I'm not sure if he helps Daryl escape and work together, or if Daryl dies and it pisses off Dwight to the point of finally betraying Negan.

I liked the Negan/Khorl line in the book, just can't make it work in my head with this Khorl. But the show has surprised me before.

I think they'll bend to the will of the fans and keep Daryl alive. Have Dwight betray Negan, get killed, Daryl just picks up the Dwight story line as leader of the saviors/training the army.

I don't think they'll kill off Daryl. I think he's a ticking timebomb and is going to go POSTAL soon and destroy Negan and/or his people. But then again, I haven't read the comic books, so have nothing to base this off of.

I don't see why Khorl couldn't continue filming even if he wanted to attend college. My guess is his dad leaked the info to try and make sure they get a much better contract this time around.

Killing off Khorl would be pretty shocking given how integral he is to the storyline and how strong his character is in the book.

Think they had to pull Negan away so the Dwight/Daryl thing could start rolling. Also opens up the "guts" scene every one is waiting on.

I'm really going to miss not having Andrea from the comics in the war, really enjoyed her character. I'm sure they'll make Michonne a master sniper here in the next few episodes though.

Yeah mega-hordes are only really dangerous if you somehow fall asleep and you wake up and they're right on top of you.

Ideally if you see one in the distance, back-track at a relatively quick pace for a few miles, then cut over 2-3 miles in either direction, and then head back the way you want to go. Rinse and repeat until you get over far enough that you evade it. It's basically like a rip tide.

I mean in the comics they basically steered hordes with horses and vehicles.

I really expected her to say her name was "Alpha" and maybe we'd see this group eventually turn into the Whispers, but alas she did not.

On the Talking Dead she apparently said the group was "The Scavengers"....so seems like they're just taking the name from the comics and doing a complete re-envisioning of that group.

I heard one theory that the war will cost the "Scavengers" a ton of members being killed and the remaining people will turn into The Whispers.

Even saying they'll end up wearing the skin of their dead friends and they showed some pics of certain characters already shown that look like certain skins worn by the Whispers.

Everything about the main girl says "Alpha" to me, really thought she was going to say her name was "Alpha" and her hair already looks like a bad wig so could easily see her going bald.

Just wonder how they'll handle the "time jump" after the war and if the time jump will basically allow for them to become The Whispers.

Was starting to wonder if the show was going to catch up to the comic until the past two episodes. All out war will probably begin during the season finale. Next season should be good though.

Yeah the pacing of the show is a little frustrating but it makes sense. I still worry if the show will stay on long enough to catch up to the comics.

I always thought the setup/resolution of the war would take 2 seasons or at least a season and a half with the 2nd half handling the fallout after setting up for the time jump into the next season.
