i believe that is correct

however... that out of bounds call was one of the worst calls i've ever seen. that's why the nba reviews those at the end of games. UNC-A got screwed of a chance to tie.

All players on the foul lanes must not enter the key until the shot is released; the player shooting the free throw should not cross the free throw line until the ball hits the rim. If any of the offensive players violate the rule, it will result in a turnover, for defending players, the free-throw will be retaken if the shot was missed.

okay there's the explanation on the lane violation. But lets give them the 2 points for the goal tendering.

On the inbound you cant call a foul, Syracuse player runs over the Asheville player. So lefts give Asheville ball there and its it should have been a 1 point game, Asheville with a side inbound there at the end of the game.

I should have put Zebra's in my bracket i guess.

if you were allowed to run from the 3 point line before it hits the rim, the guards standing back there would get a ton more rebounds just like he did there. it's definitely a lane violation.

the turnover wouldnt have made it a 1 point game, if they MADE the shot that never existed then it would have been a one point game. It was a 3 point game at that point im almost positive.

regardless, the lane violation was legit.

and im jk about womens basketball, an ex gf of mine that played Div I ball would punch me in the eye if she read that.

Asheville did good, but the refs didnt lose it for them.

they made one of the free throws on the foul so it wasnt an automatic 2. only one point lost.

In the NBA, the 3 point line is, what, 3 feet further back? So I guess it'd be less of an issue there. And you (or at least I) hardly ever see a guard take off like that and get the rebound...when it's that obvious, you have to make the call. I'm not saying it's a good or bad rule...but you have to make that call in that situation.

I may get fired tomorrow. After three weeks of my boss telling me it shouldn't be a problem to take a half day off tomorrow (vacation time), he has another employee call me today after work to tell me we are to busy to take off. This may sound normal except my boss hasn't been into work before 12:30 this week nor stayed past five.
