I am in the same position with Gronk out. Went with Cameron as he is pretty much guaranteed plenty of targets and (if opportunity arises) some end zone looks. Browns have no one else at TE and their new coaching staff loves to throw that way.

Question for anyone familiar with CBS Sports leagues:

I have to autodraft for a league tonight and I want to draft my DEF and K with the last 2 picks, instead of the first 2 once the starting lineup is filled out. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks

probably not, I wouldnt start him this week and LeVeon Bell is sounding like he is going to be coming back way sooner than expected

who should I start in my flex position (non-ppr league):

Darren McFadden @ Indy
Ryan Mathews vs. Houston
Chris Ivory vs Tampa

I have Montee Ball and Leveon Bell as my backup rb's (start 2) or possibly starting flex (currently Steve Smith, car) in a PPR league. I'm considering dropping one for Deangelo Williams. Drop one or keep both?

PPR Flex:
Zack Sudfeld (@ BUF),
Kenny Britt (@ PIT) or
Giovani Bernard (@ CHI)

Was leaning towards Bernard, but tempted to throw in Sudfeld this week.

Also, pick 3 WR:

Torrey Smith (@ DEN)
Marques Colston (vs ATL)
Hakeem Nicks (@ DAL)
Cecil Shorts (vs KC)

^^I honestly don't know enough about the RB situation in Denver to say much about Ball. But I'd hang on to Le'Veon Bell. Sounds like he'll be back sooner than expected. And with Dwyer getting cut, I'm thinking Pitt is sold on Bell being the guy

^That's tough. My initial thought was Bernard, but the more I think about it the more I'm leaning toward Sudfield.

And I'd go Colston, Smith...and probably Nicks. But I don't think Shorts is a bad play either.

if this helps:

Quote :
"
Zach Sudfeld, NEW ENGLAND at Buffalo: Despite being benched in the third preseason game after fumbling a 20-yard reception (he was later reinserted during 4th quarter garbage time) I’m still all-in on the kid from Nevada. Two TE sets are a big part of the Patriots offense and Sudfeld is their best receiving TE option. As a point of reference is the fact that in the last four games against Buffalo Gronkowski has posted 23 receptions, 352 yards and six TDs. Oh yeah, I like Sudfeld’s chances in week one."

Quote :
"Cecil Shorts, JACKSONVILLE vs. Kansas City: The return of Maurice Jones-Drew to the offense will see the Jaguars look to pound the rock and ease the pressure on embattled QB Blaine Gabbert (Or Chad Henne should Gabbert’s thumb injury keep him out). The Chiefs upgraded their secondary with the additions of CBs Sean Smith and Dunta Robinson to join Brandon Flowers. With WR Justin Blackmon serving his suspension, Shorts will be the only receiving threat and easily blanketed. I like Shorts heading forward this season but strongly suggest sitting him this week."

Horray Jamey Eisenberg! Though I'm guessing he mentioned NC State because of the @ CAR deal

Yeah that is a good trade for you. Sproles has huge value in a PPR league and Lacy is still a ? mark at this point. If it was non-PPR, then I'd be less willing to make that deal.

I get Darren Mcfadden and Lance Moore

I give Eddie Lacy and Miles Austin

Any advice? This is a PPR league

just had a draft in a 20 year old work league that has some really bizarre rules.

You start: 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 2 RB/WR, 1 Kicker, 1 Def
but on your roster you HAVE to have at least two TEs, two Kickers, and two Defenses

also, it is non-PPR, TDs count for all (but only 4 points for passing, stupid), but yardage counts for all BUT return yards (but return TDs count).

No points for completions, incompletes, only -1 for INTs, so basically all QBs are about the same +/- 30 points

DeAngelo Williams

Welker or Garcon. I wouldn't start DeAngelo Williams.

^^^Smith and Shorts. Mathews is too much of a fumble threat

^^Welker and Garcon. Williams is playing against Seattle. Welker has Manning. Garcon is not playing against Seattle.

pick 1 for my flex (0.5ppr):

Lamar Miller @ Cleveland
Kenbrell Thompkins @ Buffalo

seems like a no-brainer but these reports today saying that Miller is going to on a near 50/50 split with Daniel Thomas has me second guessing starting him.

Pick 1 TE:
Zach Sudfeld @ Buffalo
Greg Olsen vs. Seattle

Trying to decide between:

Eric Decker WR vs. Baltimore
Daryl Richardson RB vs. Arizona

Flex spot in a PPR league.

It worries me that Decker could be the third option now with Welker on the scene. Thoughts?

TD points the same.

1 pt per 10 yards rushing
1 pt per 15 yards receiving
1 pt per reception

No points for rushing attempts.

I normally LOL my ass off at impulsive fantasy players, like people who picked up Kevin Ogletree after week 1 last year and then wondered why he didn't do shit for the rest of the season

But J. Thomas could be a decent option imo...at least until Dreesen and Tamme get more playing time...he looks pretty athletic, and the TE position only has 6-8 really good players

^ The thing with Thomas is that he's much more athletic than either Dreesen or Tamme. He's the type of tight end that teams look for.

Well this game is about to work out completely opposite of what I need.

Decker not getting anything and probably won't if denver gets up more.
Ray Rice marginalized by playing from behind.
Jones out in the first half.
