Still way too many inconsistencies. In the episode before this one, they made a huge deal about how there is no fuel left in the town to run generators (for heat), yet the next day they are just driving around like nothing happened. When trying to save energy, its a good thing that Joe and Rebecca decided to charge up their Microsoft Surfaces™, else Rebecca wouldn't have been able to run that dome simulation app (which due to no internet, she had to have already had on her computer). On the topic of Rebecca, go ahead and climatology and quantum physics to her bottomless pit of expertise.

I've enjoyed this season more than the previous season. maybe because i've trained myself to not expect the book. or consistency. or good acting.

although i cringe whenever science teacher lady is on the screen. her "internal struggle" with science vs whatever is ridiculous. there is a GIANT IMPENETRABLE DOME COVERING AN ENTIRE TOWN. OF COURSE THERE IS GOING TO BE SHIT YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN.

^I wish I had. I have some kind of obsession with finishing shows I've started though, no matter how bad they get. It is especially worse if I started the show from the first episode. This was a really bad issue for Smallville and How I Met Your Mother.

I'll keep this on DVR because there's nothing else on Thursday's in the summer and it's worth having on if I get home from work early, but holy hell the first two episodes seem like the writers were struggling for something to jump from last season to what they've already filmed for this season.

Season Premier was hands down the worst show I've ever watched. I actually enjoyed this show until that episode, if they don't fix it in the next 2-3 episodes I'm done.

lol at the character of Big Jim in general. What exactly is his motivation? He wants everyone gone from the town? Why? Does he just want to be a hermit that lives in the whole town by himself? One second he tells his son that he never wants to see him again and is shooting pictures of him off the wall with a gun then 2 mins later he is all "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO MY SON" when he finds him hooked up to the Matrix.

^The girl that came back from the dead somehow encapsulated everyone in the town in some kind of pod. Their minds are hooked up to a simulation that makes them think that they escaped from the dome, but their bodies are actually still in hibernation in the pods underground. Stupid shit.

^^Basically everyone in the matrix that "moved on" is now under her control. I think it has more to do with the Dome/Egg than actually her, just looks like she has some connection to the Egg. Also looked like they were staring at the moon, not her.

She said everyone that has a part to play has to finish converting(mainly just Joe at this point), but that some people didn't have a part and could be killed(Big Jim, main good girl).

Barbie mentally moved on when he found out he was having a baby in the matrix world, he let go of the anger/investigation, Junior moved on when he burned down the house, teen angst girl moved on when she joined the sorority, etc.

I tried, but I just can't do it anymore. This show had an interesting premise but the characters and acting are just unlikeable. I would see it saved on the DVR and just dread watching it and find myself zoning out/getting bored during each episode. I just give up on this show. Season 1 was so bad it was good, but Season 2 is somehow worse.
