As far as I know yes.
Quote : | "West Virginia transfer Terry Henderson recently narrowed his list of schools to four, and NC State, his hometown school, made the cut. Pack Pride caught up with Henderson for an update on his recruitment.
Terry Henderson starred at Raleigh (NC) Neuse Christian prior to enrolling at West Virginia in 2011. A three-star prospect, he quickly made an impact for the Mountaineers. Henderson played in 30 games as a freshman, starting 11 as he averaged 8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game. A prolific three-point shooter, he was second in the Big 12 (conference games only) in 3-point field goal percentage (46.0) and shot 40% from 3-point range for the season. Henderson believes he was ready to prepared to contribute right away. "Coming out of high school and after playing against top guys in AAU, I was ready," said Henderson. "One year we won the Super Showcase in Orlando, so I was ready to play top competition. "When I got to college it was a learning process, but as far as competing and earning a spot I was able to do that. Plus, the coaches, they believed in me early. I was able to start as a freshman and earn a lot of playing experience as a freshman." Henderson's numbers increased as a sophomore, as he averaged 11.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 27 minutes. He shot 43.9% from the field and 37.6% from behind the 3-point line and also hit 84.8% of his free throws. "My role was to score and defend," said Henderson. "They wanted me to shoot, but coach Huggins really stresses defense. He taught me to defend first and score second, and I'm going to take that with me wherever I end up. Defense is first, and I know that now. "My sophomore year, I was more of a leader on the team. I was one of the few returning guys, and I had a big responsibility." Henderson chose to transfer following his sophomore season, a decision that he doesn't regret. "It was a personal decision," he said. "I still have so much love for coach Huggins, and there are no hard feelings. They are all my brothers, all my teammates, and I can still go up there anytime. I'm still rooting for them and I wish them luck. I know they are going to be good in the future." Initially Henderson's focus was on seven schools, and he recently cut it down to four: NC State, Wake Forest, UCLA, and Maryland. Henderson broke down those four schools for Pack Pride.
Henderson is a prolific three-point shooter. Wake Forest: "Coach Manning is a NBA guy. That's in North Carolina, so it's not too far away. I actually know a few players on the team... Cody, Madison, and Aaron." UCLA: "That is a top-notch program. They do everything first-class out there, and a lot of their guards have had success." Maryland: "I like that they have a good recruiting class coming in, and they need a scorer, a shooter. Maryland is like my second home so I would be with all my family up there." NC State: "State, that's right in Raleigh so I have all my friends there. It's in the ACC. Then they've been to the tournament three straight years so they are winning. Plus, coach Gottfried is a great coach." While Henderson hasn't scheduled his visits he hopes to do so in the near future. "I'm going to drive to the closest schools," said Henderson. "I'll probably drive to Richmond too because I'm talking to the Richmond coaches heavily too. I'm going to take those visits as soon as possible and make my decision after that. "I haven't set any of them yet. I'm going to though... probably this week sometime." Three of those four schools are "driving distance" for Henderson, who now has family in Baltimore and Raleigh. "My father lives in Baltimore, but my mother still lives in Raleigh," he said. "My mom, she's probably going to end up moving up to Maryland too. I'm still going to come back to Raleigh because that's where my friends are, but my mom, she'll probably move up there in the next year." Henderson, who is currently in Raleigh, was recruited by NC State out of high school so he's very familiar with the coaching staff. "Coach Early and coach Gottfried, I've been talking to both of them," he said. "I really appreciate everything they are doing, and they are really good coaches. I'm looking forward to my visit." NC State star T.J. Warren has spoke with Henderson about his time in Raleigh. Henderson calls Warren one of his best friends. "He loved it," said Henderson. "They brought him great success. Knowing T.J., I think he would have done well anywhere, but I know he really enjoyed his time at State, and it paid off for him. We talk about his time there." What will factor in to Henderson's final decision? "I want to be comfortable, on and off the court," said Henderson. "I want to play for a winning program and have a chance to win. I'm not too big on distance. My family, they were able to come to a couple of my games at West Virginia, so I'll go anywhere, I'm not really focused on distance. "Really, it's about being comfortable and finding a nice family atmosphere. It's going to be a tough decision, but I'm looking forward to it."" |

Purvis left because he wanted to play PG and isn't a PG (see the UVA game and the first few minutes of the Miami game his FR year). Lewis left because he wants to run a team and with Cat here, he wasn't gonna get to do that.
