I ended up grabbing Santonio Holmes for Jeffrey since I had an open spot on my bench. I have no intentions of keeping him after this week but there is pretty big upside there this week and my other options are pretty weak.

That's what I ended up doing. Holmes was available and I dropped Jones, hoping to pick him back up after this week, as I think he has potential for later in the year. I'm adopting a "wait and see" approach on Evans.

So even though I think Marshall is gonna play tonight (and Alshon is gonna be out), I've plugged in Reggie Wayne (Monday night) for Marshall just in case. If during the pregame I find out that Marshall is active, should I switch him back in or roll with Wayne anyway? I'm leaning towards Wayne just because of the defensive matchups.

Tough call. I'm in a similar situation. Last minute I plugged Jonathan Stewart in for Brandon Marshall at my flex...but now I could bench Boldin for Marshall. Which is what I'll do. But it's a tougher call with Wayne.

I would probably still roll with Marshall...just hard to bench a guy like him for me.

That one reporter fucked up lots of Marshall owners' days, to be sure.
For me, I lost all of two points by benching Jeffery and picking up Holmes. Not a big deal. Forte's complete disappearance was kind of a bigger deal... I need a monster night from Foles and Maclin tomorrow to make up for it.
