I hate nba rules and get that they are all to create more baskets since that b is what people pay to see but the continuation rule really makes no sense. if you can go on to score after the "foul", was there really an advantage for thrle defender? If not, thats not a foul. Continuation rule in any other aport would say play on if he scores and inbound it if he doesnt score.

I hate how theres a foul, everyone stops playing, a guy gets a free basket after the whistle AND is somehow rewarded an extra point for that. Weak.

Fun fact: the Warriors are 7-1 against the Clippers/Rockets this season. Obviously, Houston would be the easier draw, but I still don't think the Clippers have what it takes to stop the Dubs.

Yeah total collapse. Up 3-1 and had the Hardenless Rockets on the ropes in game 6. Maybe CP3 should've punched more people in the nuts and they could've pulled through.

I'd call for a face, shoot, and earl credibility watch, but they never had any credibility to begin with

What i said still holds true. I never said they would win just that they are loaded and no success they have should come as a surprise because its due. Just because they dont win doesnt mean they arent loaded. Hell, the bulls are loaded.

Still not earl tho...

But they aren't loaded. They have 3 players. That's it. Zero bench. And a shit coach to boot.

Any team giving important minutes to a scrub like Austin Rivers is not loaded. Just glad to see Paul lose as he is a piece of shit crybaby, cock punching asshole. Not a fan of the Rockets or Harden flopping all over the place, but fuck CP3.

they have 3 superstars who are each among the best players at their position...in the entire league. It doesn't really matter what you put with that combo you are still loaded. crawford and redick are quality role players. They just lost. It doesn't mean the team is bad. It took a lot to beat the spurs. They also played a few games without paul in this series. That is taxing.

13 ppg at 47%? What more could you ask for out of a 7th man?

We must have different definitions of loaded. I'm not saying they are one of the best teams ever assembled. Thats essentially what you would have if they had a 4th player of jordan's caliber.

Cippers are amazing 1-5, but so bad 6-10 that it eventually catches up to them. If they hadn't had to play a 7 game series against the Spurs they probably beat the Rockets but I still wouldn't have liked them against GS.

Doc needs to relinquish the GM role and get somebody in there who can figure out how to get them some wing depth or they will never get to the finals, they might not ever make it anyway even if they do get some help.

This year was a golden opportunity. Age and injuries finally caught up to the Spurs a little bit (and you can bet they'll fix that this offseason), OKC wasn't in the playoffs, and a bunch of other western conference teams had crucial injuries.

which is why I'd still be just a tad skeptical if GS wins the title this year; still beating memphis was a good accomplishment; I wasn't sure they had that in them, and west>>>>east

skeptical of what? they've had an incredible season and post season. they're still the clear favorites to win the title. having to face Houston makes their road that much easier. it will take an even bigger collapse than what the Clippers just went through for them to miss the finals. doubt them at your own peril.

I meant skeptical as in I'm not sure they could have taken out a healthy okc or spurs team and the east well we'll see how healthy those teams are in the finals

speaking of the East the cavs went from 20th ranked defense in the regular season to just about the best defense in the playoffs...interesting

So a team with the outright MVP, a solid 1-5, a snubbed defensive player of the year, good bench, top 5 offense, top 5 defense, excellent coaching staff , record breaking season, just beat a veteran defensive minded playoff team ...and you're skeptical?

There is no reason why the Golden State Warrior shouldn't be the next NBA champs.

I'll be happy to them. Especially Steph being from Charlotte.

yeah I don't get it. because OKC was injured, Clips choked, SAS didn't make it past the first round, etc, it means the Warriors aren't really the best team, despite having by far the best record, #1 offense, top 5 defense, the MVP? haha k

i mean if they don't win, i could see the argument that they aren't quite there yet, but i have no clue how people can argue with the success they've had this year. it's just not up for debate.

Yeah, people doubting GSW really makes no sense. They've been the best team in the league statistically all year, they've got great depth, versatility on offense (they aren't just a jump shooting team, that's an argument only made by idiots), one great defender, another very good defender, and an above average rim protector. What isn't to like other than not having been there before?

In almost any series they're going to have 2 of the 3 best players on the floor which is usually enough to win. The only team that might not be the case with would be the Cavs. I think I'd still rather have Lebron and Kyrie over Klay and Steph, but after that it's a dubs whitewash on the rest of the roster.

eh I mean I don't think it's bashing them to say they are a jump shooting team; they are averaging 30 three pointers a game in the postseason, and I wasn't paying that close attention to lineups but it seemed like Kerr was going even smaller lately

granted curry has learned greatly how to drive and set other guys up but its not like he averages 12 assists a game (yes I get that hes still the mvp and deserves it); I just think that's an interesting storyline to see if such an skill/long distance team can win it all, even that great phx team I thought had a little different makeup than the Warriors with Amare but of course all that suspension bullshit ruined that

plus I like Thompson's game but he was unproven in the post season, granted if I knew Conley was healthy going in I would have prob put a little cash on the grizzlies if I was face so beating them was a nice accomplishment but I think its going to be a little lame if they end up playing a cavs team with the only a moderately healthy Lebron and his role players after not having to play OKC or SA at all to begin with

Curry is easily the guy who I can root for with no affiliation to my alma mater or any pro sports teams I cheer for. Though I got that gameworn Todd Fuller GSW jersey that looks like a fucking dress on me so I don't wear it. But he's just a likeable guy in the era of asshole pro athletes and I was certainly a fan of his dad with the Hornets. Easy choice for me as to who I'm rooting for this year.

Also I bet the refs make damn sure the Hawks don't make the Finals.

hawks cavs is a joke of a series with a limping irving and post-prime lebron vs the most over achieving team in nba history.

post prime lebron is still the best player in the league but the others are gonna have to find tough points. i doubt atlanta will let the dellavadova tristain thompson combo carve them up. the hawks are only alive because wall got hurt tho. the cavs have the best defense because they played two teams who just can't score.

millsap is like the perfect kryptonite for thompson. hes the only guy that will actually outwork him. these guys and faried are like the only players in the entire league who try on every play.

the hawks are the only team offense in the league. bless their little hearts they play so well together with so little talent.

What happens when a miniscule force hits an easily movable object?

I hope so. I hope they are already paid. Let's be real if Lebron puts up that same school of the shooting blind act like he did against the Bulls then they are winning one game. The Hawks aren't about that "scoring drought " life
