2/3 of the way through the Woodstock doc. It's very good but there are some very glaring omissions in there. I see the formula they're using and while I hate to use the word narrative like they have an agenda, it's a bit annoying they seem to need to stick to that

I love just about everything Mike Flanagan has done, but I just don't know how I feel about The Midnight Club. I know it isn't supposed to be depressing, but I just couldn't stop the "what if" game thinking about my daughter.

It was also a pretty slow burn, which I'm ok with, but the payoff was kind of a letdown. The statuette gave me goosebumps though.

Midnight Mass was so damn good. We finished the 1st episode of Midnight Club and I was not impressed or did it hold my attention.

My daughter has a severe Thyroid issue so it was kinda a bummer too.

So I jumped on the Dahmer bandwagon.

I really don't know how I feel about this show. I want to say Evan Peters nailed Dahmer, but there's just something about his performance that seems bland to me. Maybe it's just because Dahmer had no personality at all, or at least Peters' depiction doesn't.

It makes me sick to think (if the show is accurate) of how many close calls he had with the police and everyone else around him that just went ignored.

Also, damn the 90's seem so archaic now.

^yeah, we've watched the first two episodes of Cabinet of Curiosities. The first one was okay, but it didn't really grab me, but the second one convinced me to keep watching. Very similar to the Creep Show series which I'm also enjoying (not on Netflix)

Anyone checkout 1899? Same people that made Dark, if anyone of you watched that. In fact it is kind of like Lost + Dark, but at sea. I certainly found myself saying "What the everloving fuck is even happening in this show?" a lot but it all makes sense in the end (for the most part).

^ Enjoyed it immensely. +1 on the WTF factor. I've never watched Dark, but now I'll have to. Can't recall every watching a show with so many languages flying around. Anyone considering a watch should definitely go subtitles over dubbing.

Binged Wednesday over the weekend. I thought it was pretty great, but I've always loved the Addam's family. Lots of nods to older iterations. It does kind of have a teeny CW drama aspect to it, but not in an overwhelming quantity. Casting overall was fabulous.

^Yes the number of different languages stood out to me too. Off the top of my head, there was English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Mandarin, and Japanese. At first I was like "How is it that all these people understand so many languages effortlessly? It makes sense that the captain/crew would be somewhat conversational in multiple languages, but everyone seems to be language savants?" It makes sense at the end though, and a few times there are people translating for others.

I think that was more of an issue than the producers edited it to be.

There's a LOT of content that doesnt make the show and the follow up to that incident which caused the mistrust of Chaz wasn't really addressed as much as it should have been. But that is what producers do...see what they want you to see.
