NBC stream works like a charm on Roku and Apple TV, I'm glad they got the new deal. I'm just glad it didn't go to Fox, because their streaming is fucking garbage.

Fox also started doing those partial screen ads during the WWC. Hopefully NBC doesn't go that way.

Sounds like you found a solution, but I was going to say you could just go to nbc live extra through your browser and get the streaming and then cast that tab if you wanted. Sounds like it would work in theory.

Casting from the browser always sucks for me. It could just be my shitty TWC internet though.

Liverpool looked pretty bad, offensively, with the exception of Coutinho's ridiculous goal, not sure how I feel about Benteke and Ibe yet. Where is Sturridge, still in recovery/fitness training?

The biggest problem, imo, is going to be that Milner/Henderson need somebody like Can with them in midfield in big games (and shit, they needed it against Stoke so of course they'll need it against a midfield like Chelsea or United). That means there are a ton of players fighting for 3 spots - Benteke, Sturridge, Coutinho, Firmino, Ibe, Lallana, Markovic, Origi.

I was extremely pleased with the defense though. Lovren is finally showing what they thought they were getting from Southampton.

Yea I hate tab casting. Might be the shitty TWC internet for me too. Can't freaking wait till I can get my hands on Google Fiber.

Away match day against Villa. I hope our attack shows up today. Also hoping to see one of either Herrera or Schweinsteiger to start but I expect we will play the same team as last week. I predict Depay getting his first goal today.

Countinho is a lucky man that didn't get called for interference. Great ball in from Henderson and also a good run from Benteke. Poachers goal.

Bournemouth played well I thought.

Seems Liverpool and United have the same issues. Lack of creativity in the final third but solid defensive performances. Not dropping points early is obviously the best you can hope for but both teams really need to push on further.

City have certainly established themselves as front runners and Chelsea is having problems exactly where I thought they would all season. Its going to be an enjoyable season I believe. The TV deal has certainly made a lot of teams in the midtable better and I believe this can only help.

I honestly think this is Arsenal's best chance to win a trophy. They have the squad but can they develop the consistency and grit to do it? Let's see. Going to enjoy the hell out of this year I think.

This may be a good thing. I think Pedro probably chose Chelsea over United and I can't complain. No more new players to bed in and I think this opens up the way for Januzaj to have a stand out season.

This also enables Lingard and Periera to get some matches in. All in all I would much rather have Januzaj and Periera step up and take their chances than Pedro.

Chelsea def. going to bid around 40 million quid for Stones too after their start.

eh. I don't think we have ever signed anyone just to satiate fans. Sure Mata and Di Maria were signings that signaled our intent and flex our muscles a bit after the down year but other than that I think our signings have been very good this summer.

I am a bit concerned we haven't signed a CB but Blind has played brilliantly in that position so far and McNair as cover is also very important. If Smalling can just stay fit for a whole year we will be set there. Darmian has been a great signing and may be our best this offseason.

Memphis doing exactly what I expected. Lots of inconsistency but great flashes of genius here and there. The kid is doing all the right things out there so it is very encouraging. Schneiderlin has been more impressive than I expected and once Bastian gets going I am sure he will be invaluable to the team as well. I also think our net spend this offseason is around 20 million.

Just need to get the goalkeeper position sorted out now. I still don't trust Romero as our number 1 and I really don't know what beef happened between LVG and Valdes but Valdes would have been good cover for De Gea for a year with Romero as backup.

see that is where I disagree. They were both massive players that United simply had to get when they were available. Lets also not still act like Mata isn't an important part of this United team. I think it is well established that Mata had a role to play here and Fellaini has also redeemed himself over the last year.

Di Maria didn't work out at the end of the day but I would say barring him we have done well with the signings over the last year. Thank god LVG salvaged Fellaini's and Young's careers. They were en route to becoming some horrible signings under Moyes.

Rojo would be the cover or starter. LVG likes a left footed player on the left side.

oh yes I am counting Rojo. I expect Smalling & Rojo to be the starters with Blind as backup when needed. Then Jones & McNair.

My fear is that if we qualify for the CL group some of these defenders will get hurt. That is why it is imperative that Smalling and Rojo at the very least stay fit for majority of the season.

Smalling is developing into a beast though. I am pretty sure the Brugge striker spent more time on the floor complaining then on the ball. I think if Smalling stays fit he will be regarded as one of the best CB's in England by the end of this year.

I'd say city is odds on favorite after Otamendi and supposedly KDP in the next week. Their start has been impressive and if Aguero stays fit I can see him banging in 30 goals as well. I am just hoping their age shows as the fixtures pile up.

I am sure they will have an increased focus on the CL. Pelligrini not only has to deliver a league title but I would say at least has to get to the semi's with this team. I have derby day circled on the calendar for sure. Glad its at Old Trafford first but not very optimistic about it. I am just hoping Van Gaal can replicate our form against the top 5 like last year.

I've heard some former center-back commentator claim that it's actually easier for a CB to play on the opposite side. And having played a fair bit of center-back myself, I tend to agree. You've got your dominant foot in front of the goal.

Guess someone bought into the hype. Memphis is doing exactly what I thought he would in his first year. Also you are absolutely blind if you can't see he has real talent but then again I bet you will love it when Arsene says he could have signed memphis when he was an 18 year old.

lol if so fair play. Didn't exactly have the greatest match against Newcastle so I thought he was taking the piss.

Hoping for a 2-2 draw today. Fucking should have signed Pedro, now we go into a tough run of fixtures having scored 1 bloody goal.
