because dez died and i had too many RB I was 'forced' to start Robinson. Romo is QB *shudder* Tannehill and David Johnson on my bench tho.

And yeah bittersweet, but fuck dolphins D.

I left 40 points on the bench and played two other guys for a total of 7.

This is the last time I try reading.

Started Sproles over Morris (0.5 PPR) and while their point totals were only like 3 points difference, it's looking like that may end up costing me

Dez and DeMarco Murray were my first and second round picks. So the fact that it's even possible for me to start 2-0 right now is impressive to me.

Brees has a shoulder injury...likely to miss games "potentially several" according to Ian Rapoport. Hahahahaha...the hits just keep on coming for my team.

Any QB FA recommendations...Dalton, Bridgewater, Tyrod Taylor, Kaepernick, Carr...? not a lot out there lol

Lost Romo and backup/QB2 Jay Cutler (we have a super flex W/R/T/Q spot) in the same week. Also on that team, Eddie Lacy and Carlos Hyde, both of whom left with leg injuries, probably not serious ones, but still... yuck.

I already have James Starks stashed as a handcuff and Ryan Fitzpatrick, but it's going to be impossible to find another QB and it leaves me mighty fucking thin in my RB/Flex spots. As soon as Romo goes on IR I can put him in that spot, but damn am I desperate.

I guess maybe I have to grab Wheeden?

^^^I'd play the matchups each week until Brees is back, go with the best week 3 matchup. However, there are other QB hurt/injured, so you'll have the WW competition. I guess Dalton is your safe, high floor pickup.

Holy shit, if I end up losing because I didn't bench Luck when I had a lead and my opponent was done I am going to flip. I didn't think I had to worry about him putting up a negative...

Before the draft I said I wouldn't take a QB until round four and I saw Luck and deviated from my script. Looking to be a big mistake.

Better days ahead. He plays in the AFC South and the cross-conference is the NFC South this year. Jets and Bills are a very tough start.

Brady didn't have much trouble with the Bills. Just saying, from a fantasy perspective, Luck was head and shoulders above Brady according to all the Yahoo/ESPN/Rotoworld/etc experts. They don't know shit.

[Edited on September 21, 2015 at 11:26 PM. Reason : yes, I'm bitter that everyone sucks Luck's dick and says Cam is this and that]

Good point. I think Brady is far more experienced which gives him an edge and his supporting cast, coaching, and defense are much better. Luck is definitely more physically talented but he cant win the games himself.

I think Luck was ranked so highly because of the high-volume passing offense, the inclusion of Gore/Johnson, and his running ability. And his schedule is very conducive to a great fantasy year. Most of the defenses are pretty bad.

That was all because of bradys 4 game suspension. Of course brady was going to be better. I dont understand peoe who wait to pick qbs late. They are guaranteed touches and protected from hits

even crappy QBs that go in the late rounds are guaranteed starters; that's not the case for later pick WRs and RBs. If you're not in a deep 2QB or superflex league, QB shouldn't be a priority early on.

in terms of fantasy, luck was the definitely projecting to be the #2 QB behind rodgers...and not just because of brady's suspension. luck was, after all the #2 fantasy QB last year

Got two flex spots and i'm bouncing between 4 guys for those 2 spots:

Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart vs Saints
Redskins RB Alfred Morris vs NYG
Raiders WR Amari Cooper vs Cleveland
Bucs WR Vincent Jackson vs Houston

There is good and bad with all of them. J-Stew's o-line is garbage and Cam is gonna steal TD's at goal line. Morris is basically in a part-time role with that kid that dominated the rams last week now. Cooper is young and was last week a fluke? VJax has a rookie QB that looked like garbage in week 1 and Mike Evans is getting healthier. SO i'm really not sure where to go here. I'm thinking Stewart and Cooper, but i could be off.

I would definitely start Cooper, especially if it's PPR. I think I'd go Morris in the other but tough call.

I can't decide if I should blow my #2 waiver on Palmer or wait it out to see if he's a FA in the AM. I still have Tannehill after Romo RIP'd. It's PPR and 12 teams.

Also I dropped James Jones for a motherfucking IDP dude in week 1 thinking i'd just pick him back up in week 2.

I'd hang on to Tate if possible...surely there is somebody else you can drop, right? Boldin is definitely a solid pick up. But I don't know that I'd give up on Tate so soon.

Emans hot pickups of the week: 3
David johnson rb
Antonio gates te
Travis benjamin wr
Nate washington wr
Tyrod taylor qb
Cowboys d
Matt jones rb
Stevie johnson wr
Moncrief (shoulda been gone last week)

Deep sleepers: only if uve got a bemch slot to gamble or are in a large league. These guys have potential to go nuclear but most likely will bust.

Cecil shorts
Mcfadden
Mccluster
Cassell

These guys are available in my league and have low %own but obviously varies from league to league. Im not telling you to trade for these guys but if theyre open take them. Good luck

you should have picked moncrief up last week when hilton was possibly injured.. but now I definitely would. maybe AJ does end up with a decent year but it looks like hes gone the wrong way

I think Cecil is an overrated pickup...he's a dude that gets open but he needs an accurate QB.

He may be average, not elite. McCluster on the other hand, you have a point there. He's a good RB prospect.

I'll probably wait until Sunday to do it, but who to drop for a K this week? PPR

Vereen (dropped my K to pick him up)
Hillman
Duke Johnson
Charles Johnson
Spiller
Ellington

I'm thinking Charles Johnson is the one to go, but what say you?

^ I would drop Johnson (Charles Johnson)

Somebody dropped Mike Evans in one of my leagues. I'm debating whether I should pick him up...I would have to drop one of my receivers to get him;

D. Thomas
J. Matthews
A. Cooper
D. Adams
T. Williams

Thoughts?

^I def would pick him up. Honestly I'd rather not cut any of them, but to me it comes down to either Adams or Williams. I hate to go with the worse QB, but I'd cut Adams due to Williams' immediate value being greater.

Should I start any of the below instead of Forte this week?

Golden Tate
Sammy Watkins
Torrey Smith

Show's up questionable with a Knee in Yahoo, and:

Quote :
"The forces working against the two-time Pro Bowl selection are high in number: 1) Gravity, which impacts us all. 2) An 0-2 Seattle team returns home angry and hungry, 3) Arena League-level QB Jimmy Clausen will man the ship with Jay Cutler sidelined meaning stacked boxes will be aplenty, 4) The Bears offensive line has at times been a sieve, especially in pass-blocking, 5) Making matters worse, Kam Chancellor is no longer on his self-appointed hiatus. Most believe he'll suit up Sunday. Oh the carnage. Off the blocks, Forte is up to his same old tricks. He's been the workhorse operating as one of the game's ultimate dual threats. Against Green Bay and Arizona he totaled 271 combined yards on 48 touches with a touchdown, a productive line that has him ranked No. 4 among fantasy RBs. Though he'll again carry the mail, the situation, as discussed, is the antithesis of ideal. James Starks ran well against Seattle in absence of Eddie Lacy last Sunday night, but the 'Hawks have yielded only 3.37 yards per carry and the seventh-fewest fantasy points to RBs overall. Bear down indeed.
Fearless Forecast: 16 carries, 58 rushing yards, 5 receptions, 34 receiving yards, 0 touchdowns, 11.7 fantasy points"

^^I'd roll with Forte as well.

PPR League plus return yards/TDs to the Player.

Pick 3 (2 RB and 1 RB/WR) from the following:

Abdullah (may have some return yards, but don't expect much this game with McManus (DEN) kicking off)
Forsett (splitting with Taliaferro now)
Hillman ??
CJ Anderson ??
Maclin (has been meh so far as 3rd receiver played in the RB/WR position).

I have AJ Green and Julio who I will keep in the 2 WR spots, although both are showing Questionable right now, but hopefully they will suit up this week.

I'd try to trade him as a handcuff to whoever has Bell before I dropped him. Or depending on who you have, you obviously know he can be productive if Bell were to get injured. Hard to justify just dropping someone who has like 6 TDs already this year.

^^^ Taliaferro sat out of practice with a foot injury, so I'd think Forsett gets at least a little more work, then I'd go CJA and Abdullah

^^ Depends how deep the league (and # of BN spots) is. I'd probably drop him in my league, but if you have a bench spot that doesn't have a better option.. but he has pretty much 0 value except to whoever has Bell, so maybe you could get their 2nd worst player or something

Choose my RB2 (non PPR):

Isaiah Crowell vs OAK
Mark Ingram @ CAR
Chris Ivory (Quest.) vs PHI
Matt Jones @ NYG

and while we're at it, Big Ben @ STL or Palmer vs SF?

I'd probably say Crowell but that's a tough one...

Here's what I'm debating, pick three (ppr):

CJ Anderson @Det
Carlos Hyde @Ari
Amari Cooper @Cle
Brandin Cooks @Car
