lol. I haven't hid the fact that I have been trolling last few days. Keeps me entertained at work. Besides no one here actually cares about discussing football anyway.


In all seriousness klopp did well to keep his team fighting. The pressing worked for him and I thought his subs were spot on. Can or Origi are MOTM for me. I think the biggest difference today was in game management at its finest and worst. Klopp did incredibly well not only on his timing but he ensured the players heads never dropped. Tuchel left it far too late for their changes. Got tired and overrun in midfield as pools influence grew. He was resting on his laurels.

City vs Real should be a great match. Another Madrid final would be incredible but I do have a feeling it may be City vs Bayern with Pep winning it. I think City is likely going to win a CL with Pep in the next three years though. Would really like to see Atletico win it.

Haven't watched any of Villareal or Shakthar but Sevilla as usual look good. Liverpool will probably make the final after that Dortmund match. I think Sevilla vs Liverpool would be an amazing final. I am a big fan of Unai Emery and the managerial battle with Emrey vs Klopp should be fascinating.

Controversial opinion but I love the man management abilities that Simone and Mourinho bring to their teams. That us against the world attitude is something I love. Brilliant counter attacking football is also more enjoyable for me than pass pass pass pass pass goal.

Each requires different skills of course but I find the former a lot more enjoyable. Pep is a great strategist, no doubt about it. Perhaps the best the game has ever seen but the man lacks that passion on the touchline.

Perfect example is what Vidal had to say yesterday:

"Today there was one team who played ugly football against the best team in the world," Vidal said. "We were the better team. We managed the game, but we did not take the chances we had. The only time they saw the ball was their goal."

Like fuck off, you lost over two legs you salty bastard. Doesn't matter if you had more possession or played more "beautifully." In an age where attackers get all of the credit for playing beautiful football why don't defenders get the same for "beautifully" defending? Personally I find it refreshing that teams can win with defensive football, its a shit ton more entertaining to watch then passing about for 90 minutes and boring the neutrals.

^^ Lol I have already made my feelings clear I don't want Mourinho but I am not the kind of fan to not support his teams manager, after all I have absolutely zero say in these decisions. I just have preferences and if Mourinho comes and alienates our kids and academy I will have complaints as well. If he comes and we win I will undoubtedly enjoy it too and I just hope he does it using our kids. You are a fool to not enjoy your team winning trophies regardless of how it happens.

I have zero gripes about Mourinho's play style. I have always admired Mourinho. I have problems with him not playing kids.

I see the argument everywhere but I don't buy it.

Maybe Madrid has close to the academy that United does but a quick search of the academy graduates to get first team games recently are Arbeloa and Morata.

^ Fair enough. Its just his record that worries me with academy kids. Chelsea have plenty of academy kids they just rarely get a chance. I agree he should play the people that best fit the system but I have also said I would rather he groom a kid to fit that system then go out and make a big money signing. I personally hate big money signings. Martial for example, I hate that we paid so much for him but obviously so far he has started well and may yet justify that fee. However, had Danny Welbeck played like Martial I would have been a shit ton more happier. Just a personal choice, I am obviously still going to support my team.
