the question was asked who I liked before TOB when amato was shitcanned. OBV i pick our former much-cherished OC that was awesome in his short time at NCSU, michigan's DL/DC who was a great defense minded coach with stong morals etc etc, and Bud Foster who we all know was doing a great job as DC at VT at the time

The acc blows and our wins are against uconn (barely won and they suck), south alabama, citadel, wake (lol), umd (who are horrible and it took a kicker missing an easy fg for us to not lose), and FSU

Powerful stuff, we have beaten 1 good team who happened to play their worst game of the year vs us

And we're sitting at 5th in the conference with Duke and Carolina. Heck, Duke and UNC have the same overall record as we do. Duke.

In year 6 we'll build a program up to Duke's level. I guess we were/are below Duke, so that is progress.
In year 6 we'll be almost as good as a UNC with reduced scholarships. UNC did always get the recruits and have the better team on paper, so that is progress.

This game was not TOB proving himself, it was TOB making it plainly obvious that his reasons for the loss last week are just excuses, and that he has no excuses for his mediocre performance. Maybe its not him, maybe its bad team chemistry, but if so that is a cancer that can only be fixed through major changes at the top.
