Here's the problem; you don't understand what the damn argument was about in the first place.

- The entire argument is that a Chicharito for Owen substitution being a "top class goalscorer for another" is fucking retarded.

Honestly Jonny Evans kept Chelsea and Arse in it - almost every single draw we had was down to his shit defending. Put an unhurt Rio back there and United coast to the title without question.

I don't really disagree which is a pretty sad reflection of the Prem at the top half because this is honestly one of the weakest United championship winning teams I can remember seeing

I don't think the team is that weak, I think that the defending was shit for a good period of time in England. Evans just wasnt good enough and got used at every opportunity.


The scoring and the quality were always there, as shown in Europe. It's really more of a damning commentary on the other top clubs than it is on United.

to be fair, Chelsea have also had very bad luck this season w/ regard to injuries, with Lampard, Drogba, Alex and especially John Terry missing long stretches at a time

of course, Chelsea's squad probably does not have half the depth that United possess...but that is just one more reason why United are a better team

anyhow, this season has really illustrated how crucial it is to have two bad-ass center backs
