too bad you didnt read my memo at 12pm

Quote :
"people, weather conditions are really bad in n. illinois-ohio

that means bench your kickers that play for the browns, bengals, packers and bears. and also you may want to look at other non rb players not from those teams

Down 12.. My only hope lies in a seattle/tampa defensive TD, or better a Warner to Fitz TD.

i'm only up 19 pts, and my opponent has Cooley, Adrian Peterson (min) and San Diego's Defense...

so much for going to the finals.

Ditto for me. Nice year for the 1st timers. I had McGahee in, with Maroney and Stecker on the bench. Needless to say, they scored much more than McGahee. Going into last night, I was up 93-79. I had Brandon Marshall left, while the other guy had Tomlinson and Gates. Thankfully, Norv Turner rested them at the end (1st nice thing I've ever said about Norv). I won 100-98, and became the champ in my rookie campaign.

My league was mainly first timers but we know football well....I am in the championship game after squeking out a 5 point win thanks to 8 double digit performers. Cotchery over Gonzalez would have made my team score the most they have all year. I like Cotchery this week too against KC.

Wow yeah my league should have ended this past week. Our manager had no clue what he was doing. I might have to field a whole new team almost this week. How do you choose a defense with so many resting people? I currently have the Chargers who are playing Oakland and Russell is starting and the Bucs playing the Panthers. I mean those are two very favorable matchups but how do I know how much effort they will put into the games?

^ I would say play the Chargers. If the Chargers win they clinch the 3 seed and don't have to face Jax in the first round, also avoiding a matchup with the Pats in Round 2. This gives them something to play for, as opposed to TB who I think is already the 4 seed regardless of what happens in their game.

This is more of a question directed towards next fantasy football season. I am in a keeper league that has huge rosters (we play individual defensive players). We can select 6 keepers (all of which are going to be offensive players in my case) and give up the draft pick for the respective round that the keeper was selected.

Our gameday roster for offensive players:

QB
QB
RB
RB
RB/WR
WR
WR
WR
TE
OP (any offensive player)

Here are my main skill guys:

QB D. McNabb
QB K. Warner
QB T. Edwards

RB L. Tomlinson
RB L. White
RB K. Jones
RB L. Maroney
RB W. McGahee

WR S. Smith
WR T. Holt
WR A. Johnson
WR. L. Fitzgerald

I just snagged McGahee and Fitzgerald off waivers (guy in championship round was desperate for points, and they are not playing) in a move geared towards possible keepers. So my question is who would be your 6 keepers out of the guys I listed?

I picked up Duckett and have him starting over Grant. I hate this though we have no idea how much some of these guys are going to play.

I currently have Jamal Lewis, Grant, Duckett, Kolby Smith, Darren Sproles, and Pierre Thomas. Lewis, Duckett, and Thomas are my current starters with Kolby Smith close 4th.

I don't know about Brady going #1, but if he keeps his WR's and OC, he's a lock for first-round and top QB prospect. Means you can probably steal Peyton Manning a little lower than usual.

Got a huge decision to make today:

B. Roth for some reason is projected for 0 points on yahoo even though they say he will play

Do I play B. Roth or Rosenfels (who will start and play probably the whole game)

Pick 3

Colson vs CHI
Jennings vs DET
R. White vs SEA
S. Holmes vs BAL
S. Moss vs DAL
Bruce vs ARI

Pick 2

L. White
A. Peterson (CHI)
N. Davenport
Jones-Drew

I am thinkin Davenport is a definite start but I am up in the air about the rest

I won my league with waiver wire pickups after going 3-6 because I drafted Shaun Alexander, Travis Henry, and Cadillac Williams as my RBs.

Shout out to Ryan Grant, Selvin Young, Kolby Smith, Aaron Stecker, Justin Fargas, Anthony Gonzalez, Deion Branch, Tony Gonzalez, Titans DST, Dominic Rhodes, and D Garrard for helping me to get through all the highest ranked players for the win. (I had Romo though)
