This isn't just "bad defenses" or "good offenses".

Both teams have good offenses with average defenses.

Hardly the opposite of Bama/LSU where both teams had great defenses and above average offenses. Don't believe me? Look up Bama and LSU's scoring stats. Those are good offensive teams.

It's also a product of just how good the respective defenses are. A lot easier to score points when your D is one the field for 3 minutes a quarter...
