this may have been discussed but..

can anyone tell me the deal with killstreaks? I feel like if I use a killstreak in free for all it adds to my killstreak count. so like 5 kills, get a sentry, it gets 2 kills, get a harrier

but in team deathmatch the sentry/harrier/whatever doesn't add to the killstreak?

what games do the killstreaks act as multipliers and which don't?

Everything acts as a multiplier except for things that come in crates.

So, sentry, care package, and emergency air drop do not add to your kill streak.

me, too. It's by far my favorite map.

like you said, it's hectic as hell, and if you have claymores + scavenger + noobtube, you're unstoppable. I think the only time i've broken 30 kills in a match so far is on Rust.

just went 86 and 56 in hardcore headquarters pro. I think that was my highest number of kills in one match. got a little over 20,000 XP with the kills and objectives.

My rankings:

AR:
1. ACR (total domination with this)
2. AK-47 (kicks a bit too much for long range shooting but really powerful)
3. FAMAS (1 burst will kill close....good accuracy for long range)
4. M16 (same as above but the iron sights are worse)
5. SCAR (smaller clip and really inaccurate with a silencer)

SMG:
1. Mini-Uzi (quick burst will kill and recoil kicks up for easy headshots)
2. all the rest

And I always have my trusty USP .45

I really don't like the SCAR. It's fine for close range, but anything mid to long range has too much kickback for any real accuracy.

The ACR gives me the best results for short or long range. Hell, I'm better with it long range than any of the sniper rifles.

maybe it's because I suck.

scar is actually really good long range (accuracy) but you need to run sleight of hand because if you run into 3 players you are done because of the small clip

i never use the scar

acr is awesome for long range because no recoil

i use the tar21 without stopping power cuz i need danger close - seems to not take 20 bullets to kill someone

^It took me awhile to figure out how to do it consistently, but now it's really easy. I make that jump 9/10 times now. The tricky part is running across the front of the building and not getting popped. I try to set a tac insertion at the first 90 degree turn you make once you get on the trim.
