No. 3 Wake Forest continues to roll, defeating Ball State in Winston-Salem. Easily the worst team the Demon Deacons have played this season.

Finally landed my first recruit too -- a 4-star DT. Now, the big guy is the 4-star RB who I am battling N.C. State for. I have NO speed in the backfield, so I definitely need him.

Hahaha, I had him visit for my rival game (Duke). And apparently it went well -- well enough to where I finally took the lead. I've put sooo much time into this guy that if I don't get him, that would blow so hard. But clearly, you've put in time too because you are right there.

gg Apoc, Florida State disappoints the Raleigh faithful by beating NC State 24-9.

Jerrell Jean had 122 yards rushing and 110 yards recieving to win player of the game honors. Key stats of the game were the 17-9 edge that FSU had in first downs and the 358 yards that FSU had of total offense versus only 186 for the Wolfpack.

random game question not relating to the league but relating to NCAA Football 09, dont want to create a new thread so i'll post here:

Anybody played the Campus Legend mode before? Anyway I created Corey Smith as a DE, looked up all his stats, height, weight, high school, etc and made him...I'm not great at defensive end, but anyway, I used to simulate my Evening Activities during a bye week with the exception of a library visit or two because I was under the impression that your Evening Event stats reset every week regardless of if you played a game or not, which limits the amount of stats you can gain each week...but apparently not...check out my stats going into the Duke game (about 5-6 games into freshman year):

^Never played it, but that's pretty ridiculous. That doesn't make sense for any position. Any year. Any game. But whatever, that guy has to be dominant.

With that said, Wake Forest has played. Moved to 12-0 on the season and sit at #3 in the country. Also won that 4-star RB who I was fighting with NC State for. And managed to beat out UNC for a 4-star OL. Lost out to FSU on a 4-star CB, though.

those bonuses with the (+X) will all go away after the Duke game, I just had no idea you could boost your stats for 2 weeks straight during a bye week

Big game between HaLo (FSU) and Florida this week.

It's huge for me (Wake Forest). If HaLo wins, it would move Florida out of the #1 spot and Wake (currently #3) would move into the national title picture. Still have a huge game against UNC for the conference title, though.
