I would think IF we win 3 straight games in Puerto Rico, with the final one over a decent opponent, then we could stay above Duke.

It depends on how good people think Kentucky is right now. Preseason #3 is WAY overrated for having no players ever start a college game. I think they will be that good in March, but right now #3 is too high.

Our luck is Duke moves up to #5, Kentucky drops to #6 and we drop to #7...

I hear ya, but I think one of the main reasons for the hype team program is to get everyone on the same page. You'd have different cheers going at the same time or the same cheer going different speeds and it would sound horrible.

If anyone remembers that really awkward thing at the beginning of what I think was the Syracuse game last year where that guy was at mid court and tried to get the sections to get organized cheers going, this whole Hype Squad thing sounds like a spinoff of that. I don't want to have the same stuff like they have at Cameron. If we put a solid product on the floor then I just want to get drunk, go to the PNC, and be loud as hell during the game.

Don't know who is reponsible but they are way better when I go to Appalachian games at chanting "App...State" than they are at chanting "Wolf...Pack" when I go to State games.

My thoughts are that the University could no longer have jerseys that just said State and so the figured that the best way to insert the NC was to use the block S. This means that the days of just having STATE on the jersey are long gone, and we will slowly revert back to NC State.

I am sure that debbie pulled some strings and maybee even broke the rules just so that she could please the fan base for one year.

You should expect to get first downs, unless you're horribly shitty.

That would be like if a mediocre baseball team like the Cubs did a special coordinated cheer for every hit.

Maybe we should add a "completed pass!" or "successful 3rd down stop!" cheer.
