I think a decent idea would be to review games after the fact and punish people who are clearly acting to draw fouls, cards, pks, etc. Watching people get away with ridiculous shit really really irritates me, and fifa should at least attempt to do something about it. I realize there is always going to be diving to some degree, but seeing someone get a red card because the player he bumped into grabs his face and rolls around is just disgraceful.

^^ yeah, I mentioned that a couple of posts down from what you quoted. They should do both because banning after the fact doesn't help teams that get screwed in that particular game.

But when a Brazilian does pretty much the exact same thing in an actual World Cup game and scores a goal off it, the only person who speaks out about it is Maradona. And the referee who admits to the player minutes later that he actually saw the handball and didn't call it has a big laugh about it and the bigger deal about the game is how the Brazilians got screwed over by a red card when the game was already over.

As if having to watch 3 matches every night on my DVR was hard enough now they kick it up to 4 games a day. I suppose I'm gonna have to pick the one I wanna watch the most though seeing as they will play at the same time so I'm sure while watching one Ill get all the highlights and score updates from the other making watching it kinda not worth the time.

On a good note though I'm taking a half day off tomorrow to catch the US game live so I'm excited about that .
