yes it normally sucks. though last night i happened to be watching for some unknown reason (were you??) and i saw ONE funny video. it was some segment about cheaters and pumpkin eaters and a group of greyhounds/whippits (i don't really know) were eating food out of a giant bowl. and one dog had a cone on its head from surgery or whatever. and he went into eat and just put his whole head down over the bowl so that the cone covered it and no one else could get any. i will admit, i laughed.

i guess i might hike. but i'm going to go the opposite way. the bf (tschudi) is djing at jackpot on friday so i kinda wanna go there late night. or like maybe for the last 1/2 of the night. i don't know. i will see how i feel and what my friends are doing

i was supposed to work on saturday but apparently the store i work at flooded? and is closed until monday so now i have saturday off!! but i still don't know if i wanna go to the beach music festival. it kinda sounds like my worst nightmare. or it could be the most awesome thing ever. but i'm pretty sure there's no in between and i am scurred to take the risk.

pretty sure yes on the beach music thing--the girl is moving so have to finish that up before then first but if that's done then we'll go i think. not a clue about the hike.. i might just avoid that cluster fuck at all costs

^^ i mean, i guess? well no, not really. i don't follow hockey closely generally, but i'll look to see who won/lost, watch a game if it is on, etc. kinda like the nba...the playoffs are always more interesting, so i'll go out of my way to watch ANY game (not just the hurricanes). i'd like to see them win but i don't really think that makes me a band wagoner. especially being from NC. though i do pay slightly more attention to penguins hockey than hurricanes. i think a band wagoner would be more like, deciding i like the lakers during the playoffs because they're good. and i have no ties to CA, LA, and though i watch the NBA and cheer for certain teams during certain games, i don't have "a team."

and i haven't put like flags on my car or gotten a tshirt or anything. though i did dig out my hurricanes-NJ 2006 eastern conf champs tshirt to wear if i go to another playoff game.

on the cat issue I think it's because they have highly directional hearing and I guess they can't hear behind themselves very well when their ears are pointed the other way
