i rode that little bastard last friday and it was great. i'm not used to the sport bike style lean it has but it was fun. slow driving and stop and go hurt my arms and but at speed it was nice. i plan on getting one within the year. i think the bike is really cool and i like the cafe racer mindset

15k isnt that much, besides i couldnt find any gsxr's for any cheaper and there werent any major changes. i kbb.com'd it for 4000, and that's if it had 25k and not 15k.

3k isnt much for that gixxer. you'd be hard pressed to find anything 95 and up in the triangle area for that kind of money, and there gixxers are some of the best used 600 you can get (especially the 98-00 models) for your money

Specs:

1978 Honda Goldwing 1000cc
30,000 road miles
red tank and side covers
white full faring
white hard shell saddle back
white hard shell truck
custom gel filled seats
touring pegs
radio
cruise control
floor boards
air shocks &n bsp;
dual cb antennas

Dad bought this bike new in '78. He and mom did a LOT of traveling to Florida, Vegas, Montana, etc.
In ' 89 he was in an accident on his work truck, which prevented him from riding anymore.
The bike has not be run in about 8 years. It has NEVER been laid down and has been sitting in the garage
covered up since the accident.
The bike is in very good condition and was running fine when he stopped riding it. I'm sure all the fluids
would have to be replaced and the gas tanks and carbs cleaned.

I have digital pics if you'll email or call me.

got the bike today... it's schhhhhawweeet, it was dropped on the right side but u cant really see it bc it's such a dark bike . i brought it up to 5k and i felt like i was fucking flying.. haha i was only going 20.. but it was a good first ride all in all, no drops no close calls either.

i need to get the bike a tuneup sometimes it lags and sometimes the throttle sticks, or when it revs up a lil it will stay there for a while sometimes like 10 secs..

2001 Suzuki DR650SE Dual Purpose bike 8600mi. The bike is Blue and
White with sticker decal kit. It has just recently been serviced with
an oil change, new clutch and tune up. The bike has an installed
luggage carrier on the back and comes with one off road helmet. The
bikes has a couple dings and scratches but nothing major runs
excellent. Great trail bike or around town bike. I hate to have to sell
it but I just dont have the time to ride it anymore. Asking $2900 neg.
Email me if you are interested or have any questions and I will send
you pictures of the bike. (Mike) Middleurb@aol.com

^^shit, we ride everyday, and most of my homeboys will be here for the summer school.
as far as two-strockes go, someone at state has a 50 cc aprilia two stroke that looks like it would be fun. still, it sounds like a weedeater

I'm still sorta negociating the price but somewhere in the 2500 range. The bike is in pretty good condition, maybe one or two scratches, about 13,000 miles. Works really good. It was the guy's first bike too, so I don't feel like i'm jumping the learning curve too much. Atleast I've driven dirt bikes before but 80cc is totally different than 600, that an its on a much bigger bike. Was overwhelmed a bit of how big it was compared to the pic (looked small), but it fits pretty nice. The guy had to get rid of it cause he got into more of touring, that and his belly kept hitting the gas tank.

What motorcycle insurance do you all have? Whats a good cheap one for just liabilities? I looked at progressive and I was quoted for 311 bucks for 12 months, which isn't too bad.

So I've been interested in getting a motorcycle lately, seems like a hella good time. I know I need insurance and a special licence, but where are good places to take classes? I'm also looking to spend around $1500 for a motorcycle to just have fun riding around on weekends, nothing fancy.

I want to know how you guys are getting insurance. I got a quote online for a honda CBR 600, and Progressive quoted me $5k per year. That's twice what the bike was. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

of course you have to have the title in hand for that

if you have a loan on your bike (which is just stupid) then yes, you do have to pay a lot lot more for insurance
