Quote : | "Israel prepares to launch attack on Iran nuclear sites
January 16, 2006]
ISRAEL is set to strike nuclear targets in Iran if the United Nations fails to take action against the rogue state, intelligence sources claim.
Military chiefs have told the United States that they are ready and able to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons facilities - with an attack as early as March.
The revelation comes as Iran faces growing isolation over its decision to restart its uranium enrichment programme in defiance of the International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA).
The UN-backed authority has warned that the country could be just three years away from building a nuclear weapon after it broke UN monitors' seals at its Natanz plant on Tuesday to restart work on its nuclear programme." |

After all, salisburyboy was wrong about the draft coming back, don't you think the burden of proof is one him to prove that this isn't just another wild theory, that while remotely possible, is not as serious as he would like us to believe?

I never predicted the draft was coming back by a certain date. What I did was talk about the likelihood of the draft coming back, and I posted articles about how it may come back around a specific time period. The discussion and warnings about the draft in the "alternative" media certainly have had an effect and have probably helped prevent any draft from being implemented up until this time.
Regardless, the draft may still be brought back in the near future--especially now with the very real possibility of war with Iran.

Oh, this is the part where you say "I never believed it, I just posted articles for the consideration of others." Thats pretty much your standard operating procedure when you are wrong.

So there isn't a draft thanks to the alternative media? Has it crossed your mind that maybe your alternative media was simply wrong again? It reminds me of the prediction that Charleston would be nuked as a pretext to war with Iran, then when it didn't happen, Alex Jones said that it was prevented by the fact the ran a report on it.

Ok, little buddy.
Please bring some proof and critical thought to continue playing.1/17/2006 11:31:47 AM |

that's what you do when you don't have any rational argument to make, eh?" |
actually i wasnt trolling, it was a serious question. you say we use smear tactics all the time to discredit you and prisonplanet etc etc and as a result you get in a big tiff about it. but yet when you do it, it's ok and acceptable. ya know the sword is double edged, maybe you should learn that and face the fact that all you are is a hyprocrite, among other things.1/17/2006 4:26:27 PM |

Smearing someone is defined as spreading falsehoods about them.
When I call you and joshua out for trolling, I'm not lying. I'm merely telling the truth.1/17/2006 4:34:35 PM |

Well, little fella, I'm not trolling; I'm being critical of your ideas. This is to be expected when you post asinine ideas on a public discussion board. Quite often, you choose to slander people when you are incapable of defending your ideas. You attempt to dismiss them rather than address the issues that they bring up.
This reminds me of whenever someone calls you out as being a racist or anti-semite. You explain that you aren't being racist or anti-semitic, you're just "telling the truth." The lies that you tell yourself are the funniest ones. 1/17/2006 4:47:02 PM |

Here, you made the ridiculous assertion that answering a question with a question is a "smear tactic."
That's clearly trolling.

do you not know the rules of the english language? when a statement is followed by a "?" it means it is asking a question. once again:

Quote : | "Iran threat grossly exaggerated, say 70 percent of Britons
Jan 17, 2006 IRNA
An overwhelming number of Britons believe that the current propaganda campaign against Iran has been blown up out of all proportion, according to the findings of an ongoing internet poll.
Just over 70 percent said that the threat posed by Iran has been grossly exaggerated compared with only 20.8 percent who disagreed and 8.3 percent saying they did not know.
The poll is being conducted by Intelligence Squared, a London forum, which is due to debate the controversy at the Royal Geographical Society in April.
The forum, which is sponsored by the Times newspaper, takes information and analysis as its raw material, and translates this into discussion, conversation, and debate.
It was set up by two media entrepreneurs, John Gordon, who has founded Xtreme Information research consultancy, and Jeremy O'Grady, cofounder of The Week magazine.
A year ago, Intelligence Squared conducted a poll on whether Zionism was the real enemy of Jews that found almost 50 percent agreeing and slightly less, just under 45 percent, disagreeing. " |
