1) not kicking a FG on 4th and 1

2) reggie bush lateral

3) not trying to stop Texas from scoring on the 2nd to last drive

4) not giving the ball to Bush on 4th and 2

5) using their final timeout on an essentially meaningless 2pt conversion when the CLOCK WAS ALREADY STOPPED


They deserved to lose they made bad plays all around.

Yeah, the 4th and 2 at the end made no sense. They should have punted and made Texas go the distance. But USC could have had this wrapped up in the 1st quarter. Their own mistakes cost them the game. But damn, that was a great game.

His TD run was one of the most amazing plays I've ever seen. There's not another back in the nation who is scoring on that play I dont believe.

Yeah, it's still "WTF call a TO" b/c the worse that would happen is be down 3 with 1 timeout remaining. They still converted, so you blew the timeout anyway. Either way, USC would have tried to get in field goal range.

Listen, the two point conversion was meaningless compared to the importance of that timeout.

Without that timeout, you are NOT getting a field goal ATTEMPT, so who the fuck cares if its a 1 or 3 point game.


Secondly, there was no way in hell they were gonna keep vince young out of the end zone from the two yard line. In case you missed it, they couldnt contain him to under 20 yards on any play.

So why burn that timeout?

That is a total choke job by USC.

And the fact they didnt know Texas was going for two in a one point game is flat out embarrassing.
