Morris just has the technical skills to program the bomb. McCarthy found him and needs to "coerce" him into being Fayed's engineer. So he makes up the story about his sick brother in order to lure him out and capture him. I don't know how they're going to force him into arming it though.

Well it was already established that the person who's picture was going to be shown was a normal technician that wasn't working with the bad guys. Just an average joe with the knowledge to arm the bombs. They even said he would have to be coerced to work with them. That specifically spells out that he is in fact, NOT a mole. Why anyone would think "mole" when they saw his picture is beyond me. I can think of 2 possibilities. 1) you didn't see any of the previous episodes where they spelled it out for you or 2) you're an idiot. statefan24's taking option 1. I guess that leaves option 2 for Specter.

Does it make any sense that they let his father into the room alone with the suspect? It wasn't even Jack, just some regular CTU agent. Does he have the authority? What about protocol? And why was the needle still out? Won't they see that 4 ccs is missing? If they don't suspect Papa Bauer in the first 5 mins of next week's show, I'm not buying it. (But I'll still watch.)

Aaron Pierce, David Palmer, Jack and Tony are the only characters that have appeared in all of the first 5 seasons (I believe... correct me if I left anyone out). I'm not sure who Agent Burke is.
