The final boss was a pretty big disappointment, it was way too easy. Although there wasn't anything preceding that fight that would make me expect something more complex. Still though, the game is badass.

finished lastnight on hardcore also, final boss was way easy. I was sneaking around, got to the turret at the back, and was trying to come up with some plan involving that, and then my roomate suggested we just shoot him in the face a lot.

Awesome game though, can't wait to see where they take the story next.

did you use the torque bow to get the locusts off him so you can have a clear shot? Thats what we did but i don't know if it was necessary. seems like he had some kind of protection with them.

Nah, we just sprayed Lancer bullets at him until the bats cleared out, then we popped him in the head with sniper rifles until they came back. They were probably shielding or healing him or something, I dunno. He was moving towards us most of the time, he died right on the other side of the first barricade. Blindfired shotgun spam finished him. We never actually left the first piece of cover.

it's a little tougher by yourself! i beat it solo last night on hardcore...torque bow to get them off...lancer...repeat...then just all lancer...when he charges...all 4 grenades, jump into the light run to the other side, cover, dart for turret...then i killed him.

it took me about 10 tries, but on 5 i beat him, but he killed me the second before...it showed him dying, but i was dead first...lol (kinda like the grenade tagging)

I'm also bad at FPS, especially bad at console FPS, and don't really like playing games all that much anyway.

Meanwhile, there's still a scoreboard out there that had me with more kills than Golovko. So really, shit's perfect.
