It's amazing on how many great PGs we have just missed out on the past 5-6 years. With that said, now Lowe's contingency plan will unfold and we'll see how good of a coach he really is. How he "rebounds" from losing his top two targets (Hickson is not coming here) and possibly not getting
Smith due to academics will shape the next three years for him. He is lucky he has a good core in Fells, Costner and McCauley that will learn his system as sophomores and should be good enough to compete with anybody by their senior years. The Class of 2008 will be crucial in providing spark off the bench and depth to the team so that will be his most crucial class in him succeeding or failing as a College coach.

goergetown will never do anything big again. an occasional win against duke or uconn but they will never be a contender in anything. princeton offenses dont even really use a pg.

The only new commit for this year is wingman Dennis Horner who is 6'7". Unless you are counting Trevor Ferguson who was here last year. Farnold Degand and Simon Harris can't play this year either. We are pretty much short on everything but wings.

Word going around is that the person who leaked that Wright would be coming to State was his Dad. The same Dad who was pissed about the way Herb was treated here and said so in several interviews after his departure. Basically his dad played NC State to get back at us.

Why would I be offended? I can't stand them being a UConn fan. But they are and will be very good. They are in a better position right now then our program and I don't blame him for going there. There fanbase is quite small since DC is a pro sports town (like most big east areas) and it is a small private school...

But the actual area of Georgetown is a good selling point for young athletes though. Great area with lots of quality women..

You guys don't want Josh Thornton. That fucker is awful. I remember seeing him play at the TOC before his senior year in high school. He was easily one of the worst players in the entire camp. He took a shot damn near everytime he got the ball.

I specifically remember one of his games that was played at the second court in the Dean Dome. The right wing, wide open jumper, nobody within several feet, and he hit the top of the backboard with his shot.
