How many can you start at one time? We can only start 4 (including utility).

If you are playing head to head, drop some of those fuckers and stream pitchers like I do. I dominate the pitching categories every week.

BTW, I am in 1st place of a 12 team league. Large rosters. Pitching (Halladay, Hudson, Harden, Webb, TJones, FCordero, Isringhausen) has carried me so far along with Jeter and Tejada in the IF... and Hunter/Rowand in the OF.

Do you have a "max games played", "max innings pitched", or "max transactions made" in your league?

Meaning, is there any reason why you couldnt stream a pitcher?

Just curious, did anyone take my tip about Oliver Perez and pick him up? I'm sure by now he is gone in every league worth a damn but, to toot my own horn, that was a great piece of advice...

if you go to the "extras" tab above your team in yahoo fantasy leagues 3 options pop up: ranks, opponents and player ranker

click on the opponents option and it will show every player on your team's opponents for the next 6 days. If your pitcher has a ^ next to any of these opponents, then thats when they are scheduled to start again

I dont think that there is a cemented schedule of when a pitcher is going to start since there are so many factors that influence their availability on a day-to-day basis, so you might not be able to find anything much better than what yahoo.com has to offer

The thing is that I think he's going to be gone soon after he clears waivers b/c he's a name. That 4.70 ERA does worry me a lot. Plus, he has as many walks (30) as he does strikeouts (32). I would say pass on Zito unless you think he's going to be comfortable against NL hitting sometime in the next few weeks.

somebody just dropped Todd Jones lol...I dropped Accardo and scooped him up...I have now picked up both Todd Jones and Joe Borowski simply because idiots dropped them...combine them with Weathers, Reyes and Torres, I have 5 of the 20 pitchers with double digit saves

^^ I like that trade for you. Giambi is hurt and sucking and Fielder looks like a 50+ HR guy (aka Ryan Howard last year). K-Rod is great, but if Owens comes back healthy he could still get a bunch of saves so in reality all you are giving up is some saves and the small impact in Ks, WHIP, etc that K-Rod brings.

Wakefield is typically the Yankee killer, and since the Yankees suck right now that's a pretty good chance for a W at least, if not a good bet for WHIP and ERA

FAAB bidding is tonight, and I won't be at a computer anytime before 12 so I've got to put my bids in now. We each have 999 FAAB dollars at the beginning of the season, I've got 757 left, which puts me near the top/middle of the money holders at the moment. It's a 14 team league starting 4 RP, so closers don't come on the FA wire EVER. Currently I've only got Jenks as a true closer so I'm in desperate need of saves. Here's how I'm bidding:

- $230 for Hennessey (this is a couple $ more than anyone has bid on any RP, next closest was $227 for Frasor when he got the nod)
- $51 for Messanger (more $ than anyone has spent on any RP that wasn't a potentional closer)
- $51 for Wilson

I think the job will most likely go to any of these 3 guys, but I want to make sure I cover all my bases, otherwise that's a shitload of FAAB to dump on some middle reliever I'd be dropping if I'm not right. What do you guys think? Does anyone think they're really gonna hand the ball to Sanchez or Ortiz?
