So since Sabotage is a co-op encore, would I have to play through the co-op career mode to unlock it? Or if I just play through it single player career, will it be available for multiplayer quickplay?

dannydigtl, I'd recommend getting a used PS2 since you don't plan on really playing any thing else. Also it is the only system that has all of the Guitar Hero games. You could get GHIII with the wireless controller, and probably find a used GHII with the Gibson SG controller.

Went to wal-mart to get this today, all they had were the wired controller packages, and they were the same price as the wireless controller PS3 and Wii bundles.

I asked the the chick at the counter where they kept their GH bundles for people with regular mental capacity, she just stared at me blankly.

Guess I'll have to order online. Anyone know where you can get cheap or free (and fast) shipping on this game? I know Amazon gives free "super saver" shipping, but that takes like 3 weeks.

I wish Barnes and Noble sold video games, their shipping is free over $25 AND it's like 3 day shipping.

i think if i save the battle thing till late, because he just goes on this longass spill and it says "Drain" somethin





ive noticed they dont hand out gamerscore points as easily as other games like madden

yeah thats basically automatic lose.. somewhere in the menus or manual it says you lose when the song is over.. thats what the meter in the middle of the screen is

i think i threw a double note / amp overload at him at the same time

it was after the "break" kind of in between solos towards the end


through the fire and flames i don't think will take as long as jordan did for me anyway, either hold down the green button in the intro or like tape it down (cheetz) and play that way and the intro shouldn't be too hard, i got to 35% before i fucked up on a easy part, too tired.

come beat it on mine. i've played about 20 times. i've tried hitting him with 3 attacks back-to-back and he didn't miss a single note. what i've read online suggests that the "double" attack during his last solo should make him fail. i've survived all the way to the end (if you don't beat him in time he does some crazy solo and you automatically lose).

one thing that's kind of been irking me as i play this game is that the guitar part that you're playing is like twice as loud as everything else in the song. it's hard to hear the vocals and all the other stuff that's going on. has anyone else noticed this or am i alone here?

You can adjust the individual volumes of the guitar track/vocals/sound effects etc. At least you could in GH II, I assume you can still in III.

i can't fucking beat the god damn last battle on hard. that god damn asshole keeps getting fucking left flip on me and i can't do shit about it. Also, i know im fucking hitting the god damn power up buttons, yet i dont get a god damn power up. Oh yeah also, he gets fucking 8000 power ups, to my 3 potential power ups, and everytime i do get one it takes him down to like 1% fail, and he doesnt fucking lose god fucking dammit fuck this nigger shit ass fucker cunt.

holy shit no doubt about that final battle. I got 2 powerups in the first 3 minutes. that shit is fucking crazy though, I dont know how anyone can beat that song on expert. I am dying on hard and the other GH's I beat on expert in my first few tries.

I did this as well... freaking tripped me out the first time and I thought I was passing out...

this is my first GH game... I've only played GH2 a couple of times at friends... it's weird to be practicing on a fake guitar like you would a real song on a real instrument...

I debated on getting it for the Wii (free online play) or 360(better sound/graphics) and got it for the wii... big fan so far

haha sounds like my experience. my favorite part is that all of his power ups come right before your power ups so he'll get them and use them and make it impossible for you to get your own power ups. what i eventually did though was get two or three of battle things and wait until near the end, then when he's doing a monster solo use them one after another (not all at once, back to back to back rather).

the switch from easy to medium was hard for me, couldnt incorporate my pinky to save my life
