what was his excuse last year? He fumbled the ball quite a few times and that's the main reason baker was put over brown.

a bunch of people. They're even more senile than the half the the stadium the cheered when Evans came in during the Clemson game . . . or the ones in the student section that were chanting for him to be put in after Beck's int.

He has pretty much kept the ball in his good hand for that very reason.

I was at the BC game this year. You would think that the great BC fans would sell out the stadium since they had a great team and were wanting to stick it to their old coach. Haha, that place was nowhere near sold out. There were a ton of empty seats in the upper decks. There were even empty seats around us and we were sitting in the lower deck around season ticket holders. There are a number of reasons why TOB left. BC's AD didn't want to pay TOB what he was worth. So he got a raise for coming here, the cost of living is less, and he and his wife are closer to their house on the carolina coast. Also it is easier to recruit quality Division I-A players down here. State's fans are more passionate than BC's will ever be. Most knew this would be a rebuilding year. State fans aren't any worse than most big BCS schools' fans. We just want to win an average of 8 or more games each year, with years where we jump up and win the ACC and 10+ games every now and then. The main thing I'd like to see is that our team just be consistent every year. We get to the level where we can just reload each position each year and not have any drop off, so we never have to hear those two ugly words "rebuilding year" ever again. We also have way better facilities than BC. BC's Alumni Stadium is a fine place to watch a game, not a bad seat in the house, but it is near the bottom of the ACC in stadium rankings.

well he's a fucking idiot. Limp noodle has a good family story . . . but he just doesn't have what it takes. Dude acts like a deer caught in the headlights every time he sees someone coming at him. Although today he was too busy staring at his 1st read to even notice the blitz in his face.

Speaking of staring... Beck would have so many more completions (and less Ints, for that matter) if he would just quit staring down the guy he's planning to throw it to.

Attention: Beck
Their defense CAN see which direction your head if pointed. Keep this in mind.

There are a ton better things to do in Boston on a Saturday afternoon than attend a college football game.

"only nc state would do that" and "you cant make this stuff up"

i really think things are getting to the point where theres not 5 mins. during a game where anyone in the stands wouldnt rather put a gun to their head

shit, atleast trees wouldn't get pushed around and the defense would have to run around them instead of through

anyone got a youtube on that play with the blocks by Crouch and Stone?

^Who got the block on that one reverse play we ran (the one where some guy's helmet flew about 10 yards off his head)?

Crouch got the hit that knocked the dudes helmet off and Stone hit his guy so hard that he had to be helped off the field. All that resulted in a 1 yd. gain, but damn if it wasn't one of the best 10 best plays the offense had today. I mean we didn't fumble, throw an interception, or commit a penalty, so the play was considered a success.

^^Yeah, the play didn't do shit, but it looked great and got the crowd fired up. Here's hoping that ESPN shows it on their Jacked Up segment.

Someone sitting in the Parent/Family/Students section told me that quite a few of the parents seemed confused by the existence of both of the challenges in the game.

Yeah I really want to see that hit over and over again, it was sadly one of the most enjoyable moments of the game. That boy got JACKED UP!

wasn't a reverse . . . was a pass to dunlap where he turned a loss into a 1 yd gain because of those two awesome blocks. It makes it even greater that it didn't even effect Crouch. The way he was standing there after it, you woulda never known he just sent a 2** lb guy flying on his ass in the opposite direction that he was running.

when Brown fumbled that last time the guy in front of me (not in the student section) stood up too fast and his sunglasses fell off his head. he picked them off the ground then slammed them on the game and stomped the hell out of them.

man i was hoping that play was going to get reversed and when it didnt he threw them back on the ground

i think he did what all of us wants to do when we watch us play

Murdoc = another freaking MacGyver alias? Do you not have a life?

And shouldn't that be a suspension/termination when it is an obvious alias? It even says MacGyver in his profile.

I don't know if someone was joking about Hauschka or not but this is his only year of eligibility. Yes he is a real solid kicker. No misses yet in the year if I am not mistaken and doing a fine job kicking off. Czajkowski will be able to step in and take over next year as a Redshirt-Sophomore.

^I still don't understand what their is to challenge. 12 men on the field is a penalty . . . what can they do even if there were 12 men on the field?

Apparently Coach Kragthorpe didn't want to challenge whether there were 12 men on the field, which is why he was so upset and yelling after they said he wanted to challenge. He apparently just asked one of the refs where there 12 men or not on the field, and the ref interpreted it as he wanted to challenge that.
