i almost guarentee if it was grandma's cookie baking club that had a few old ladies park their lincolns at foodlion and walked across the street this would not have happened.

your ignorant and arrogant attitude is the exact problem with this situation. A shady fucking towing company and a cranky nite manager (probably jealous that while he was working his way up from bag boy to nite manager other kids his age were out drinking and nailing bitches) decided to take advantage of a bunch of college kids who they assumed would just passively accept paying the fine and a dick in the ass.

there is a sign on the door of the food lion that says DURING BUSINESS HOURS that is where they want people to park.

Not sure i need to get up w/ the kids who got towed. I was merely trying to rally the people and gather information for a bunch of my friends and friends of friends who got wrongfully towed. They have the necessary info to fight the injustice of having their cars towed how they choose to proceed is up to them now.

i had a prob kinda like this in Wilmington...except it was the parking lot at the very apts i lived in.

i had a friend come over to grab a few movies, he wasnt in my house 5 min and when he went back out to his car he saw the tow truck riding off with his car. we immediately got in my car and followed him to the tow truck place and then i blocked the tow truck from getting thru the gate with my car. the dumbshit tow truck driver then made a couple big mistakes. first he got smartass with my friend, who is a crazy fucker and will fight in a skinny minute, plus he's big too...like 6-4 230. Then the dumbass tow truck driver cussed at me and kick my car telling me to move it or he will kick my ass. HAHAHAHAHA....we beat that redneck retarded fucker down. Sure we both got charged with asault but it was worth it. Neither of us got any jail time from it, just some fines and probation.

I got a letter from food lion corporation saying that the Food Lion does not even own the property the food lion on avent ferry is on and thus can not tow anyone.

so either...

a. Ace towing lied about Food Lion calling in to tow the cars
b. Food Lion called in the cars to be towed eventhough they have no legal right to do so.

WRAL lady needs help finding the ordinance/ NC statue that requires a sign to contain the name and number of the towing company

The sign is >24x24. It clearly states no authorized parking AND it lists the towing company and the ## with which they can be reached. Anyone towed there deserves to be towed.

Yesterday while entering Food Lion I noticed a new paper sign in the window. The sign went something to the account of

"NCSU student wolfline riders as we are gracious enough to allow you to park and ride from our parking lot please restrict parking to the outer perimeter. Parking spaces on the inside are for customers only DURING BUSINESS HOURS"

I guess FoodLion does not follow its own regulations and decides to change them if they can get a $50 slipped under the table from ace towing.
