What Grobe started with at Wake was very similar to what PJ runs at Navy. That offense has incorporated much more passing as he got better QBs and receivers.

95% chance paul johnson will be at georgia tech next year. my "source" told me that today before he left for the navy vs. army game with the johnson family (seriously). he has georgia tech the highest on his list because he used to coach georgia southern i believe, knows the area, knows florida, and it's close to the nc mountains where he's from.

i'll post any other coaching rumors i hear in here for those that may be interested.

also fwiw. two coaches (ex-ncsu and current navy) have told my "source" that blake (http://tarheelblue.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/blake_john00.html) is crooked at unc and they've heard from recruits that he is making numerous recruiting violations, including extra stipends and cash.

my information comes straight from the AD at Navy when he said firmly that no schools have been in touch with Navy about talking to Paul Johnson for their head coaching positions...he gave the quote after some goon at CBS said that PJ was a done deal at SMU.
