michigan was finally healthy. We turned the ball over 4 times and forced 0 turnovers. if this was florida's worst game of the year they wouldnt have played us this game, they would have beaten OSU for another NC. A healthy michigan can compete with the top SEC schools

I was amazed that Michigan beat UF this year, other than that the Big Ten performed as piss poorly as everyone expected. It's not a good conference this year. Occasionally the Big Ten is pretty good, this was not one of those years. As long as the BCS is in place you can expect to see a Big Ten team (read: OSU or Michigan) vs. a PAC-10 or Big XII team (Oklahoma or Texas) most years. Every 3rd or 4th year an SEC team will squeak in there and embarrass someone. It's just the nature of the BCS and stupid fucking college football.

It's not going to get any better, shit it's only gotten worse since they started it. They eliminated quality wins, margin of victory, and have no virtually eliminated the computers (which usually had it right).

^^^^ Perhaps, but that's just because to process of selecting the opponents for the NC game is flawed. It's not harder than beating the best team from all of the other conferences.

I meant that its so hard in the SEC to get to the point that you can play in the NC game (you pretty much have to win the SEC Champ. game) that getting there (to the NC game) is the hard part, the actual game isnt... whereas with other conferences, such as the Big Ten/Ohio State, the "hardest game of the year" is probably going to be the NC game, especially the last two years




and I still have NO CLUE how USC lost to Stanford

^^^considering they beat michigan by 7 in a game where michigan was missing 5 starters and their star rb was hobbled in a game with shitty weather. The poor weather completely favored osu with hart playing hurt, as UM's passing game even with mallett is better than osu's

The only bad thing about last night was that tOSU didn't lose by 30+ points, granted they did look bad in the last three quarters.

I just want all the people that can vote in the BCS system to remember that tOSU lost 2 in a row, and badly at that. Maybe next year they won't gift them into the NC game. Then again they were already talking about how they'll be back in it next year because they have 10 starting juniors this year. The tOSU hype machine for '08 has already started.
