im actually glad that pk was called, the use of hands to hold people back and hold shirts in the box has become a ridiculous. there would be a lot more goals and more action in soccer if the shirt grabbing were dealt with better in games

^ I fully agree with that. It's amazing how much the set pieces are grab fests. It clearly takes away the offense's advantage, which is the whole point anyway.

of course, i know they don't play the same position. all i was saying is that it's a puzzling decision when you decide to drop gattuso, who is consistently good while camoranesi stays in the team, when he pretty much does nothing.

as for wingers, i think if you have de rossi and perrotta down the flanks, you don't need camoranesi. probably have cassano or di natale in a central midfield attacking position.

well i just know that de rossi isnt a winger, perrotta can play as a winger, but i think hes used as central mostly as well. i think theyve gotta use camoranesi as a winger imo...the italians are still having a problem in their back four this game though.

mutu has had a terrible start to this tournament and is playing horribly this game, had a 1v1 with the keeper which he hit straight at buffon...hes had several attempts at playing his teammate in front of him through on goal with passes but hes hit them straight at the defenders

wow mutu...you cant even trap a ball when passed at you...wtf are you even doing out there?
