i say cooley...NYG > ARI defense but Cooley has proven he can do it...the Skins might suck but Portis and Cooley are still good options

i got offered Ray Rice and brandon marshall for kevin smith and greg jennings

im high on marshall, as is everyone it seems and i have willis mcgahee (who i got in the 4th rd)

thoughts?"

Marshall>Jennings easily. Smith may lose his job to Rudi Johnson. I like getting Marshall/Rice.

Repost for new page...sorry

I've got a problem with my W/R spot this week:

I've got Willis McGahee and Ray Rice, plus Nate Burleson.

with McGahee hurt, I would put Rice in, but now it seems like they might split. Would it be better to just put in Burleson and hope for a big game, or play whichever Raven gets the start Sunday morning?

Note: for points we only start getting points at 50 yards carried or received...so making 2 receptions for 15 yards or 12 runs for 48 yards gives me nothing.

is that a joke? The Rams have sucked ever since he has been there and it hasnt hurt him before... of course, you were the one that got on to Johnny for picking up Andre Johnson, said he was HORRIBLE...

i'd play Burleson. especially with some of Seattle's receiver's out with injuries, he should get a lot of looks. i've never been a big fan of starting a running back who's sharing carries. so if mcGahee is going to play, I'd say Burleson. but that's just me

^^yep...I'm playing Burleson at the flex in the league where I have him...playing him this week over Driver and Fargas among others...he is Seattle's #1 receiver until Engram comes back (who knows where Branch will fit in depth chart wise) and of the Seattle receivers playing week 1, Hasselbeck and Burleson have the best chemistry...when Engram gets back who knows, but I am high on Burleson in Week 1

^definitely play Roy Williams

for the other spot I'd lean towards Roddy White even though its Ryan's first NFL action...Curry doesn't exactly have a proven NFL stud QB throwing to him either, and plus Denver has some nice cornerbacks

Roddy White WAY over Curry... I think White could end up a top 10-15 WR this year

he has the talent but you should be a little bit skeptical just until you see Matt Ryan face some real NFL action...I still like him over Curry this week

3 positions where I need a little help:

1. QB
Ben Roethlisberger Vs. Houston
Jon Kitna Vs. Atlanta
I see good things with both, but just want opinions on which would be better.

2. RB
LT is my main guy, but who should I start at #2?

Michael Turner Vs. Det.
Selvin Young Vs. Oak.
Not a bad situation to have as a choice, but I just want an idea from others.

3. WR
Andre Johnson is in at #1. I have a mixed bag outside of that. I'm trying to pick up Hines Ward off waivers, but won't know until Saturday about that. I need 2 of these guys:

Lee Evans Vs. Sea.
DeSean Jackson Vs. StL.
Eddie Royal Vs. Oak.

Yeah, my main debate is Selvin Young Vs. Michael Turner. I could see both having big games, and I don't think I could go wrong either way. I'm pretty much on board with everything else, but that RB issue of Young & Turner is my main focus. I'll take your opinion, but others are more than welcome to share.

Aint Portis' fault that he has a horrendous O-line and that the playcalling is absurdly obvious, like NC State under Mark Trestman obvious.

Only thing I saw Portis do wrong was fall down on that breakaway run he had. Should have been a TD but he tripped up. Hopefully this week people will start bailing on Portis and start trying to shop him for little, haha.

Not a bad situation at all.

Here's my team (5 keeper league, standard scoring, 12 team league):

QB: Brady (K), Jon Kitna
RB: Jamal Lewis (K), Ryan Grant (K), Thomas Jones, Julius Jones, Kevin Smith, Justin Fargas
WR: Randy Moss (K), Marques Colston (K), Jerricho Cotchery, Reggie Williams, Jerry Porter, Kevin Walter, Muhsin Muhammad
TE: Tony Scheffler
D: Packers
K: Mason Crosby

It's an interesting draft, since it was keepers, but how do you think I my team looks?

For week 1, should I start Kevin Smith over Ryan Grant (vs. tough Minnesota D)?
Do I try to shop around for another TE? The only thing left on the board now is Utecht, and worse.

Good trade.

It's difficult to trade 2 good players for 1 elite player, since the elite guys are so highly valued.

^^ no, but I am loaded at RB too so I could afford to give up Perry for WR depth

at RB I have:

AP
Turner
Ernest Graham
Selvin Young
Chris Johnson
DeAngelo Williams

^ yeah, the guy had Ronnie Brown as a starting RB so he has been scrambling for a few weeks now to find one

and now I just offered another guy Vernon Davis, Selvin Young and DeAngelo Williams for Winslow.

Jaybee and whoever else has Adrian Peterson...you guys seriously might want to consider trading away one of your bench players to handcuff Chester Taylor...I have a bad feeling about AP's health this year

^which is exactly why I took Chester in almost all of my drafts.

AP hasn't had a completely healthy season since his junior year....of High School.

The dude runs hard and always pays the price.

He will miss games this year, so its highly recommended that you get Chester.

RAY RICE LIKELY TO BE NAMED STARTER FOR WEEK 1

Quote :
"Rookie Ray Rice is being prepped to start on Sunday against the Bengals, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Willis McGahee has been slow to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery and is going to be a game-time decision for Sunday. The team is planning on Rice to start, and will consider it a bonus if McGahee is available. Ray Rice would merit starting consideration in fantasy leagues at home against the Bengals if McGahee doesn't play, and should still be productive if McGahee does make it onto the field, as the veteran would likely be limited."

gates will not be starting. he will play, but won't start, and they'll get a feel for things before playing him excessively. keep that in mind when making your decision.
