they dont have to do anything too big to get a better pick...the way I understand it:

Favre takes at least 50% of the snaps this year: Packers get a 3rd round pick

Favre takes at least 70% of snaps this year and Jets make the playoffs: Packers get a 2nd round pick

Favre takes at least 90% of the snaps this year and the Jets make the Super Bowl: Packers get a 1st round pick

I'm pretty confident the Packers will either get a 2nd or 3rd round pick out of it
