That last TD was against our backup D....I'm glad we pulled our first stringers, I was so nervous Nate would get a serious injury if we left him in too long.

We stayed the entire game to soak in the taste of victory... may be quite awhile before we experience that again...

I'm sure, but even an average team would have won today 50-7. Russel Wilson is still also largely unproven. He didn't make too many glaring mistakes in his first start, but we weren't exactly offensively productive either, of course no help from the oline or receivers either there...

I'm glad he's gonna be back for Clemson, but the jury's still out

it looks to me like the whole offense is built around Wilson's mobility. I'm not saying by any means that we showed signs of life against W&M. but we couldn't run the ball from a spread offense with a slow "pocket" passer taking snaps, or at the very least someone that can release the ball quickly without throwing a pick. With Russell Wilson in the game, you almost have to spy the QB with a Linebacker and it spreads the field better for the run. We had more success when we lined up in the I and just ran it right at them.

Either way, in the spread we need someone that can move, and supposedly Wilson is playing against Clemson. I wouldn't assume Eugene will be back but if he is we haven't seen how he'll pan out this year either. My point is there are still alot of what ifs coming into this Clemson game and it's too early to completely count us out of it. I made the million point comment because when Clemson gets down they tend to stay down and beat themselves in crucial situations. If we score 1,000,000 though, surely we'll get some hype.

well, I think the main reason we need Wilson is because of our O line. Bill & Mary was laying down some heavy pressure on our QBs. BILL & MARY

so yea, every other D line we play this season is going to give us more trouble unless we improve drastically up front ourselves.

exactly, just look at the pressure SC got before and after Wilson went out. Evans has made a few great throws and I think he'd be worthy of a starting position if we had an offensive line that was really good, but with what we have, Wilson puts us in the best position to win.

Wilson has to show up in a big way over the next few weeks or we are doomed. Beck did the same thing last year where he looked good against bad teams but when the DBs got a little faster, stronger, better at jumping it became an INT fest.

I swear I feel like I'm watching Tecmo Bowl with Harrison Beck at QB. Drop back, bomb it deep, hope for the best. It's not really pretty, but it was a lot of fun to watch last night.

Beck's numbers: 17-25 - 246 yards. 2 TDs 1 INT
Evan's numbers: 4-11 - 12 yards. 0 TDs 1 INT

nah it was boom for the intro. didn't really like the opening video but i guess its cool. it would help for all the music that they play if they would actually TURN THE MUSIC UP. you can't even hear it right before kick off or during the intro when its supposed to be getting the crowd up for the game.
