The bullpen giving up 4 runs in the last 2 innings is a late loss.

Dropping a routine pop-up with 2 outs in the 9th is a choke.

I just don't think of a single game as a choke. 2007 was a choke job. I don't even look at 2008 as a choke. We had a fatal flaw after Wagner went down that was exposed over 162 games. Every fatal flaw gets exposed over a full season... it is what makes baseball so great. IMO the Phillies have a fatal flaw this year, starting pitching...

Anyways...

We have Santana going today to back up our ace Fernando Nieve, lol... Seriously I'm thrilled where we are. 1.5 out and a few weeks out from the AS break. I wanted to stay within FIVE of first by the break and we are well on our way to doing that... Great pitching from the starters recently.
