I wasn't on tww for the draft, so i just have to say HAHA RAIDERS YOU FUCKING SUCK.

and I'm kinda surprised maualauauguuga lasted so long, thought he was one of the more surefire players in this thing. and laurenitis, but he went before maualuga.

Dallas still has 12 picks left in rounds 3-7. Seems like it would have been smart to put a package or two together to move into the first round.

haha, mcshay said this morning that Safety was the weakest position in the draft, along with offensive guard. So much for that

interesting day 1 for the titans. keny britt is anything but the typical titans pick. i like it though. i had a hunch (that was wrong) that the titans would move up with the extra picks they have. They don't have that many needs, and a fairly full roster.

also, how the hell did the pats end up with 8 picks between rounds 2-3? yikes.

I've got to think that Pete Carroll and his assistants talk with a couple different teams about the talent on his team prior to draft day and that word gets around about who he thinks will be most successful.

Speculation of course, but if Belichek or his assistants felt that Melololugua wasn't going to live to up to hype, it would get around pretty quickly. IE, some NE assistant mentions it to Pioli who mentions it to Mangini who mentions it to McDaniels, or some weird combination like that.

It could also be that Belichek never had any interest because of character issues or whatever, therefore, his former assistants had no interest and he kept getting passed up.

Goddammit, stuck watching Dora the Explorer

I'm thinking if the Chiefs take a RB, Johnson is gone - and going to the Pats...

Shonne Green picked by the Jets (who traded up with the Lions)

Andre Brown probably the best RB left on the board

I would prefer Duke Robinson NOT to be selected...

Quote :
" three-year starter at Oklahoma, earning First-Team All-American accolades in 2007 and 2008...A three-time All-Big 12 selection, including First-Team honors as a junior and senior...Physically gifted and has outstanding strength and power...Can be a dominating force as a run blocker, opening up huge holes along the way...Sensational footwork and also uses his hands well...Due to his above-average speed and agility, he could translate into a tackle at the next level...Tends to rest on his natural abilities... Work ethic is mediocre at best and he tends to lose concentration on the field."

You cant teach work ethic...

i am suprised to see brown still on the board. i dont the panthers pick on goodson. he has great hands out of the back field and should be a solid return guy. ohh and not a bad 3rd rb on the roster. i saw a video on you tube with him this morning and he did some nice work against some good teams.

Pumped to have Andre on our squad. Behind 3 other solid RBs though, so he'll really have to work his ass off to stay make something happen with the GMen.

Not so sure about the Tarheel on the team though...

I was wondering where he would end up... can't say I'm too happy with sending him to the giants- maybe they can trade him somewhere else that will get him some PT

70% completion percentage is worth at least a 7th round IMO. It's not like he's timmy chang throwing on literally every play.

Some people said Rivers was a product of the system also.
