Nikki wasn't a stepsister, she was a twin sister, but whatever, just another plothole in a sinking ship.

There is a lot to complain about Heroes, Wraith, but you are a bit off on this one. Nikki was Jessica's older sister. She is 2 years older by birth.

The only discrepency here is that it sounded like her "father" was biological, but he would have to be adoptive for all this to work. It requires some finagling, but this isn't too off the wall.

"As far as dumbing down hiro, they dumbed down everyone's powers. At the end of the second season everyone's powers were evolving to have these second tier abilities, they had to roll back some of that because everyone was getting way to powerful.

I mean, imagine trying to write a script when one of the characters can stop time and do anything he wants. So that when you have him in these situations, there is no point writing what happens because the character would just stop time and BAM, no plot"

I disagree. Instead of dumbing down powers, you simply need to have counter powers.

The Haitian was perfect for this, and they have not used him to his full potential at all.

Remember that Sylar was able to move while Hiro stopped time? Hiro attempted to stab him, and he somehow snapped out of it.

You'd also think as big of a deal as they made of Ando having the ability to supercharge powers, why he's only just shooting people with an arc of "lightning"

I know we're supposed to "forget" about the future episodes, but does Hiro EVER become ninja Hiro? Remember how important that stupid ass sword was to him? Oh wait, we're not supposed to talk about that.

Bah, it's so frustrating what they've done to this show.

my roommate did point out that future nathan (in the future where all the heroes were exposed/free) was actually sylar with shapeshifting ability.

not that the future from that episode will still occur, but kind of cool (kind of)

And Peter left that Scottish girl in the future. Although I guess they changed history so she probably somehow ended up back in Scotland.

had we ever seen sylar fly before this episode? or did he suddenly just get that power so that it wouldn't seem odd that nathan couldn't fly anymore.

^West, another character we haven't heard anything about.

And I guess since Sylar is able to lift people off the ground with his telekinesis, he could use that to make himself fly. That's kind of a cop-out though. And we do know that he can take people's abilities without necessarily killing them (he took Elle's electricity before he killed her), so I guess he could have done that too, but they never showed him attempting to take the flying power.

And yeah, you're right stingray, she was Irish.

Did they ever explain how being able to alter your DNA and physical appearance/structure, ie shapeshifting, allows you to change clothes instantly as well?

^ From "Behind the Eclipse"

Quote :
"“I have a question regarding the ‘Clothing Rule’ cited in BEHIND THE ECLIPSE Week 21, which is that when a shape shifter, whether it be the late Jim Martin or Sylar, is changing his form, his clothing remains unchanged. Which is why Martin had so many ‘costumes’ and Sylar had to dress up as Sandra before impersonating her. I couldn't help but notice the clothing changing in ‘I am Sylar.’ While I can accept that maybe Micah had a spare set of clothing identical to what he was wearing to loan to Sylar so that Sylar could fake Micah's death, and we don't actually see Sylar changing back into himself on screen after that incident, I can't help but notice when Sylar changed back into himself after being Virginia Gray, Virginia's dress became Sylar's clothing. While I might have been able to rule this out as a hallucination reminiscent of ‘Psycho,’ Micah saw this change occur. Later on, when Sylar is in Nathan's office, disguised as Nathan and wearing one of Nathan's suits, the real Nathan confronts him, and Sylar changes back in front of him and his clothing changes from the suit to Sylar's outfit that he's had on pretty much this whole episode whenever Sylar is in his original form. What happened to the ‘Clothing Rule?’”

The clothing rule was thrown aside by the people involved with episode 24 in preproduction. We wish it were not, but that’s sometimes how it works out. "

^^ I believe they have decided to ignore Season 2. Adam was quickly killed off, Mexicans gone, Sylar gets all his powers back, West gone, etc. Hasn't Sylar only obtained one ability without cutting? Why did he resort back to it with Nathan when they confronted each other?

That kid sucked; hopefully he's dead.

Ya the last episode was severely disappointing. I like the Fugitive theme at first but the last few episodes it seemed that the writers were in a hurry to "wrap things up" and complete dropped the ball. Plot holes, lame shit, sylar thinking he's Nathan, loose story lines, what the fucking hell.

I just started rewatching the series from episode one and there are SO many holes between volume 1 and volume 4...mainly revolving around the Suresh family.

How did the elder Suresh find Sylar and Claire in the first place if they are both adopted? There were no records or paper trails for either of them.

Why was elder Suresh so obsessed with finding special people even though he had experimented on them in the desert so many years previous like they showed in volume 4? That just doesn't make any sense at all. It was too long ago for Shanti to even have been born yet, but wasn't she the reason he became so obsessed according to volume 1?

These ages don't line up either. Chandra Suresh was an adult while Linderman, Angela, Charles, and Bob were all children. Yet his own son is around the same age as Peter...I know it is possible that Angela had children early and Chandra had Mohinder later in life, but Chandra should have been old as fuck by the time he was murdered by Sylar.

Sylar was given by his father to his father's brother, so the genes there could still line up to find sylar.

but regardless if he was using info from the human genome project actual parentage wouldn't matter, the better question is why wouldn't HRG stop claire from giving blood

Damn...I remember when 2 hours after an episode of Heroes, there were 3 pages of posts to read...now theres only 3 posts, and no one even bothered to start a new thread (even though technically this thread was mislabeled originally and is now correct).

Yeah, same lame show at a new time...very disappointed Claires roommate didnt turn out to be a demon.

Ha completely didn't think about this being on tonight. Definitely watched House instead.

As far as the holes in the plot, I think this is one show that was as crippled as any by the writers strike.

it was time for it to be put down
