got some gator blood in the house. so i hate fla state naturally. everybody else = ncsu grads.

wake + bc sucking it up together = good for our division

maryland losing agin = ok now it's solid they suck balls this year. they don't need to prove that further so yeh good luck to them

Someone said they shouldn't give credit to NC State since we never give them credit for anything.

I said I give them credit for preseason hype and somehow having the youngest team in the nation 3 years in a row.

Wait wait wait, Zach Brown isn't faster than Superman, Marvin "D-Cup" Austin didn't swallow Tech's running game, and TJ Yates isn't showing "much improvement." I'm SHOCKED!!! Seriously, UNC is doing much better than any reasonable fan expected. Nobody thought they'd get through UCONN and ECU, and everyone knew Tech would beat them. They are ahead of schedule and their fans are irate? Critical game for them against UVA. All I got to say is SWAGGER UP. For those of us who didn't get to watch that beatdown, where can we watch a replay?

Is this why UNC was favored in both games? Yeah, we played like shit on the road yesterday against a fired up GT squad. It's disappointing but it happens. Miami got whipped at VT. Cal got stomped at Oregon. Penn State lost at home to Iowa. This is the nature of college football and it's still just ONE game. UNC will bounce back with wins at home against UVA and GA Southern and be 5-1 heading into the Thursday night game against FSU. We should also get some of our offensive starters like Cooper, Pianalto, Dyer, Jones, and Taylor back from injury during that time.

Seriously? Where did I say ANY of that? I think we have a good but not great team. I still stick by my preseason prediction of 8-9 wins. I also think that the game at State will be a dog fight and don't know anyone who thinks it's an automatic W.

This was a July(ish) type prediction. I made comments throughout this thread before a down of football was played this season that UNC would be fortunate to essentially go 4-0 OOC, and I still think that was huge fo rthem, regardless of how many UNC fans expected to walk through their OOC games, in case you forgot, the UCONN game required a small miracle to win. I'm loving this attitude from you and other Hole fans. UVA played Southern Miss straight up on the road last game. BUT UNC has a GREAT Defense. THEY are the BEST defense in the ACC since the 1996 Tarheels. Every other team should consider their offense Lucky to score even 10 points against the vaulted UNC defense. Heck, this year's UNC defense may be the best defense the WORLD has seen since the 1986 Chi. Bears. Man, if only the Wolfpack could be half as good as the UNC defense. At least we have a QB, I hope RW can play the game of his life against the Best Defense know to mankind on November 28th, if he does the media will think we will be able to stay within 21 points of the tar(suckmyass)holes.
