umad?
I was sitting wondering where those rollers had gotten to(as a result of this thread), i had come to the conclusion that someone must've stolen them out of my yard....... I forgot all about the heep
Edit: Maybe i can find some jeep donut spares next week at pull a part..... they would bolt up the the '52. I wonder if those front drums would hold well enough to light them up?

Yeah if the drums wont hold we can always adjust them nice and tight before the burnout, then after adjust them back. Probably need a little adjustment anyhow right?
I am still trying to figure out what lift pump to buy, there is no reason it should be this hard. If the right way to do it is with a $500 pump, then OK... but there are 10 different pumps to choose from... and I am afraid of buying a $500 pump cause I read stories of manufacturers not standing behind their warranty... so confused about this shit. Dodge/diesel forums are little help. 11/1/2010 4:58:26 PM |

Seems like every diesel forum latches on to one pump or the other. I bought an airdog, but my opinion is invalid since it is still in the box in my garage. that things looks like it will be bitch of an install! 11/1/2010 5:25:20 PM |

EVERYONE who is selling them claims "30 minute install", but we all know that is code for "at least all of one fucking day". They also say "everything is included", which is code for "you will be making at least 2 trips to the parts store for stupid missing parts".
I am now looking hard at an Airdog II... nice system, great warranty, but rings up at over $600. 11/2/2010 12:26:41 AM |

In the process now of replacing the front brake rotors, pads, calipers, hoses, and wheel bearings. Also it it time for new upper and lower ball joints (they are way fucked) so I am doing those as well. 11/6/2010 4:32:50 PM |

Replaced connector tube o-rings today, still seems to be losing fuel prime when it sits though- I think some new copper washers are next. 11/10/2010 11:33:22 PM |

Sure rides nice with new front end, but took it to get aligned today and it pulls a little to the left. Took it right back and told them to call me when it was straightened out. After picking it back up again, no difference, still pulls exact same. Maybe on Monday the dealer will have a service writer or manager who can find a tech who knows what an alignment is. 11/13/2010 7:55:07 PM |

It actually straightens up if I get on the brakes, and it didn't do it prior to the alignment.

Geno's Garage has factory-style dash replacements... they are pricey, but screw directly into the existing mounts 6/1/2011 10:55:18 AM |

Well I should have replaced the clutch master/slave assembly when I did the transmission, it made a HUGE difference. Next I need to replace a rear door latch and rebuild the front door hinges... 8/30/2011 9:08:47 PM |

The SuperDodge got a 4"filter to turbo, 3"turbo to manifold, 60mm GDS cold side upgrade, and a full 4" exhaust this last week. Feels a lot better. Needs a serpentine belt 9/17/2011 7:19:13 PM |

you're going to have some EGT reduction, go for it. As for noise, there's a few options - Donaldson mufflers (think big-rig size), and "FTE" resonators ... or you could make your own with a section of auger welded into a piece of straight pipe... or buy one of these kits:

just do it. 5" or nothing
