We found Molly sleeping here the other day. She is very mad at me for turning the light on. She is under a comforter, a quilt, a set of sheets, and all my undergarments from my wedding.

I loved that air mattress actually. Rarely needed to add air, but my in-laws let the cat in there while we were on vacation and I think she might have clawed it. She has slept in there before with guests and never had a problem, but there weren't sheets on it this time.

^ Is the dog on the right a wire-haired pointer?

Christmas themed photos upcoming. First two are what my SO does to torture our pup...the 3rd is us Christmas shopping. Most of the stores let him in, but the some make us stand outside and watch his mom shop through the window:

Nice. Our dog gets confused for that breed a lot. There are a TON of short-haired pointers down here...but I've only seen one wire-haired one. I like them.

in the correct thread:

Spencer was rescued from a kill shelter in October of last year. He had been abandoned in inner city Miami and had been beaten up badly with his right eye damaged.

A french bulldog rescue group found him, paid for him to have surgery (he had to have his eye removed) and for him to fly up to my wife and I where we adoped him on the spot. He's a great guy and only 2 years old

question/advice for those who have moved their dog from their original home into a new home....we moved last week and our dog is still in the adjustment phase. we understand that since he has only ever lived in our previous home that our new home is going to take some getting used to (especially since we moved from a townhouse into an apartment).

he's doing great in terms of going to the bathroom and sleeping, but we're having a bit of an issue with separation anxiety if we leave. we realized that we underestimated his adjustment with that greatly and have been taking the proper precautions (ie: not really going out much or taking him with us when we go somewhere and luckily i work from home full time) but at what point do we leave him? we don't want him whining/barking and interrupting our neighbors.

he prefers to be crated when we're gone but i didn't know if there were any tricks or tips we could do to help make this any easier. i worry if we let this go on for too long then it's only going to back fire on us and become a bigger issue.

we talked about leaving the tv on but i worry if he hears the tv he'll think its us and then just bark more. normally when we leave him, it's completely silent.

another friend (who helps out a lot with fostering rescues) said to get a kong filled with peanut butter and give it to him so he has something to distract him.
