^^We lost to Virginia at home....this was probably the worst team in the ACC talent wise. There is nowhere to go but up from here. If you had asked almost anyone before the season started, this would have been the one game we should have been able to circle as a W.

every time we play an ACC game we manage to screw our lead up in the second half. EVERY TIME.

oh, and EVEN THOUGH tracy smith can't make most of his free throws, about 80% of the points we DID have were from him. he's easily the best guy we've got.

^^yeah, he did. but no one should really be that pissed about it because everyone else on the team was playing like shit -- there's no "i" in "team". Everyone runs to the other side of the court once the opposing team shoots and just assumes someone is there picking up rebounds. and it's ridiculous that as the tallest guy on the team Vandenberg isn't in there making sure we get them.

on a positive note, i was impressed with the way degand played. he ran the ball down the court several times....something Javi should take note of. Between this game and the FL game it's obvious that we don't need to waste time on the court. I think if we had a few more minutes on the court and stopped fouling so much we would have won today.

I think my favorite heckling moment was when the guy sitting two people over from me yelled

"Hey Tony Bennett -- where's your tie? this isn't business casual...this is the ACC!!"

Also, if anyone was watching the Jumbotron during the national anthem the camera was on me for 90% of it. I didn't feel it was appropriate to take a picture during the national anthem but if anyone did, pls to post.

Dude you can't just keep hitting the reset button on your teams. Look at teams like the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry Jones quit firing the hell out of coaches, and now you see that the Cowboys are doing better since they are sticking with Wade Phillips. There are more examples like this out there. Look at our football team, we fired Chuck, and NC State football is no better off now than it was when Chuck left.

well firing the bad coach is only half of the process. It doesn't make a difference if you fire a mediocre coach and hire another one like we did in both sports. But its still better than doing nothing because in foresight, there was a small chance that things could've just fell into place for tob or lowe.

The worst thing that can happen by firing either one is that we stay the same . The best thing that can happen is that we become amazing.

Sidney Lowe is 62-51 and 15-35 in conference. After NCSU made five straight tourney appearances.

This is Lowe's fourth year and another 10th-12th place finish looks LIKELY.

10th-12th in each of his four years is UNACCEPTABLE, and does not fit into your little "can't-fire-coaches-every-year" philosophy.

Keep lowe for the coming of harrow, brown, *leslie*... and if we are not in the tourney harrows 2nd year, then hit the road jack ... thanks the more realistic scenario for flowler. He knows that if he gets rid of lowe after this year, we would suck worse because everyone would leave, like happened with sendek.

Guys, get real, grow some patience, and accept that we need to root for our team, but not criticize them all the time... its pointless babbling, and will only make our problem look worse (not *force* us to get better).

Look man, not saying you're wrong, but Virginia has that one thing we've been lacking since Atsur left....someone you can trust with the ball in his hands to make a fucking play.

As bad as we are, we could be much worse depth wise and win more games with one player like Landesberg, and thats all there is to it.
