Just got back from the game and can honestly say that no university that puts together a display like that should be allowed in the acc. The team was shit, the rbc center was empty except for some loud vt fans, the refs were their usual bumbling selves, the dance team came out on the floor and went right back to their seats after the wrong music was played twice, the band played about every twenty minutes (fight song). Completely embarrassing.

Even worse when you consider this is the 100th anniversary and you have to wonder what is ahead with the direction our athletics are going.

umm... it was far from empty.

if you want to compare it to the capacity and what it should be... make some kind of comment about that... but the attendance was fucking awesome for the display that this team put out on the court.

Wow as much as erice85 and GenghisJohn and others have ridden me, its funny to see what you two have to say in this thread.

Tonight was just embarrassing. No effort aside from Davis. Sid called like 1/2 timeouts. It's almost like he has given up. Javi has gone to shit, Mays still sucks, Degand sucks, Tracy didn't get the ball, Wood can't make shit, CJ Williams is non-existent. I mean hell the crowd is booing because they are not going after loose balls and not even fucking trying.

I guess adder will come in here and post that I am wrong and that we should have expected a loss even though we are fucking terrible and embarrassing that everything will be ok.

And please, besides the tackle on Mays that TV Ted didn't call, we got a majority of the calls. Hell I can remember 3/4 times Javi or Degand traveled and I was astonished at a no-call.

Same old same old! There are multiple threads about the ref and the no call at the end of the first half. Then there are a lot of threads with angry fans posting who haven't cooled off yet.
