I'm in both and will probably abandon all interest after the first few weeks...

OR MAYBE NOT.

Yeah, it's not so much about losing interest as it is about remembering to check the status, especially with my job schedule being so unpredictable.

I think we have 6 signed up on Barclay's site. I'm ready to get it going with Rooney at captain for the week.

this is the kind of shit i was talking about earlier in this thread i believe about city:

Quote :
"City manager Mancini has told Ireland, who has played for the club for his entire senior career, the time has come for him to move on to pastures new.

"Stephen Ireland is a good player but he has been here all his life and he needs to change,'' said Mancini. "Sometimes it can happen that a player stays with the same squad for 15 years and plays well but a moment arrives when he needs to change. Now is time for him. I really think he can improve.''

Rather than pay Ireland £2million to leave, City would be more likely to up their transfer offer and buy Milner in a straightforward purchase. But Mancini said he is confident the transfer will go through as originally planned once Ireland considers his options over the weekend.

"We need two or three more days with this situation,'' said the Italian. "It is right that everything goes well for everybody but I am confident it will be OK.''"

thats some total BS from mancini and once again they are gonna treat another long time City player like shit as they try to force Ireland out...

Quote :
"I really think he can improve.'"

then why get rid of him? some bs shit that would piss me off further if i were ireland.

not sure how anyone can like this team as they are demonstrating nothing but piss poor management and class...i dont blame ireland asking for more money on the way out. hes obv not gonna get the same contract as he would at aston villa if he ends up there, so he wants the money he is due. man city are gonna spend a shitload of fuckin money in the next 5 years...this is gonna be retarded as hell

ive played both fantasy sites that are listed up here and found that this one is def more fun. no offense to you other guys playing the barclays one..had i not played it before i would be trying it out too. but i just found that it got boring on that site quickly. not as much things you can score points off of.

holy shit my team has the possibility of being epically bad or epically great...depends on if some of my "gambles" actually start

Spurs could have scored three times already 17 minutes in if Hart wasn't standing on his fucking head.

HOLY FUCK SCORE ALREADY SPURS!

this is getting ridiculous

[Edited on August 14, 2010 at 8:20 AM. Reason : There is some sort of invisible forcefield around this goal. It could be 5-0 right now]

outside of joe hart, man city has looked pretty shitty.

its hilarious when the ref is talking to tevez, he probably understands 10 percent of what the ref is saying

Defoe should've squared that ball to Crouch instead of shooting himself.

If Aaron Lennon were half as good as Gareth Bale, England would be great.

Coffee brewed. Dog walked. Time to settle in and be a bum until 2pm today. Definitely a fast-paced first half. Gareth Bale was, by far, the best player on the pitch in the first half.

I should hate Spurs being a West Ham supporter and all (and the fact that they are my brother's favorite team SOLELY because he researched who West Ham fans hate the most in the EPL) but I find myself liking them and I like Redknapp.

Also, I'm so glad I get FSC-HD and Gol-HD now. Can't go back to SD after the World Cup.

Balotelli most likely won't make his debut until the Liverpool match. We could obviously use his attacking presence in the second half.

Tottenham need to score soon. They've played too well to not take full points from this match.

City (except for Hart) looked inept the duration of the game.

They lost steam and lost direction near the end, they had no clue what to do or what was going on. I can't wait to see this team fail.

Sucks Spurs didn't get 3 there

One of those seemingly millions of opportunities has to find the back of the net in the first half.

mancini is a dumbo for starting 3 defensive midfielders (yaya, barry and de jong). they created no real offensive chances and were incredibly lucky to draw.

tottenham should feel like crap for not winning that game. hart was awesome in goal, but they still shouldve scored about 3 times.
