I remember when The Dark Knight came out, one of the negative reviews (if not the ONLY negative review) cited the "obvious fuel-inefficiency of the Batmobile" as a major con of the film.

I hate Nolan's taste in actresses. Ellen Page, Katie Holmes blech. I really hoped Ellen Page would never work again. Never been a fan of pasty brunette lady who thinks she is funny. Scarlett Johansson didn't have much of a role in The Prestige. Damn she was hot in that.

^that'd be pretty cool actually. i had always thought that he would get his back broken at the end and somehow find peace in not having to be batman anymore. my thought is probably a little too dark, although it would serve as a fairly definitive conclusion. from what i've heard, it looks like lazarus pits are going to play a part in the movie though.

^^^I don't know how well a flashback would work. You mean they open the movie with batman in one of those cliche body casts with the leg suspended in the air (already injured) and go from there? I could see getting injured early on then using cat woman until he gets well enough for a rematch, but there is that notion of time constraint... so maybe a flashback or something.
