the refs deserve to be given shit in that game, regardless of who you were pulling for, there were a few terrible calls. so what if we made it to the line 8 more times than them? maybe that just means they were fouling that much more?

Maybe my view was bad or something. It might have not been the greatest officiated but there were missed calls on both sides.

I never said the refs were out to get us, they were awful on both sides of the ball, which adds to the fact that it was one of the poorest officiated games many people have supposedly seen

exactly. IF. and if he plays with that kind of effort AND learns to stop playing like a dumbass, he could be one of the better frosh in the country. you cant tell me that everytime he jacked up one of those 3's, 99% didnt say "nooooo". he also still was playing like the type of guy who is desperate to get stats and highlights rather than staying in the flow of the game. it just so happens that since we have zero flow out there, if our most athletic player decides to give effort, he will look like the best player as long as he makes some shots.

CJL is also what they call a "ball stopper". when he get's the ball, everything stops while he try's to decide what to do. of the people that have logged minutes, only painter and vandenburg have fewer assists per game than him.

The refs flat out sucked dick in that game last night, I don't care who you are or who you were pulling for, and it seemed an awful lot like they shitty touch fouls started when NC State made a run to take the lead, and some hard fouls on the other end (Brown) were not called.


Its fucking Ted Valentine and Carl Hess, two of the worst in the business and everyone I know fucking hates them, not just State fans. It needs to be stated that the officiating sucked. I'm proud of how our guys didn't fold, because they have faced that earlier in the year several times and just rolled over to take it in the ass.

Ernie didn't point out that Wood is one of the best perimeter shooters in the conference, and no one else his size comes close. But he assumed you realized that.

You're not going to have a great outside shooter averaging shit for rebounds, no matter how tall he his. Really, height is irrelevant when you're as thin as Wood is.

Howell and Leslie both should never be allowed to shoot 3 pointers unless for some reason they have the ball and the shot clock is at 2 seconds or less.

The same thing for that patented fade away baseline jumper that Leslie ALWAYS misses at least once a game. I mean it's basically just a turnover. Apparently he must be hitting that shot with a lot of consistency in practice for Lowe to allow this to go on each game.

Who is the one complaining? I'm not complaining about shit. Several idiots in this thread and many others will bitch about the officiating no matter what. Saying Wood could rebound better is a fact not complaining. He has no gumption at all to go inside and help out. Basically if he is not hitting 3s, he is not much good for us.

^he is a decent defender, but lately, it seems true. i mean, him being on the court guarantess at least one guy will be on the perimeter constantly hounding him. but he has shonw an inability to do much other that hits 3's. he isnt a good passer, rebounder, or a great defender and he cant seem to make a 2 pter. his 3pt percentage is spectacular, but it is telling that he has only made 18 2pters all season.
