I'm not blaming refs for the shots not falling, but I am blaming them for calling fouls that weren't there, for T'ing up our coach for next to nothing, for not calling blatant fouls against our players, and for making this game impossible.

We might not be winning if the refs were calling this evenly, but we wouldn't be down by 15 either.

Casual sports fans always throw around random shit they hear on tv like "foul trouble" and "clutch"

It's one thing in 1988 when people actually believed that broadcasters were experts but in 2012 i don't want any analytical information from a guy whose job it is to memorize players numbers and majors.

How many announcers understand basic sports analysis? I doubt more than a handful.

How many would even know what a confidence interval is?

How can anyone think they'd know anything about sports if they probably are incapable of passing basic statistics/math classes and thats why they ended up in broadcasting in the first place?
