I kinda wanted the Panthers to get Da'Rick in the 6th round since we passed up on some other WRs, but we ended up drafting a running back from Oregon to be a return guy

Where did Rogers end up going?

Buffalo

Zack Rogers (slow white guy that also burned Amerson) to the Jets.

Rumors of Bray to Dolphins.

And yes, I realize this didnt occur in the draft.

Bray to the Chiefs. I like it. He'll be starting within a year

Quote :
"The draft dark horse: Everyone has a dark horse draftee and one who can do “Russell Wilson” things on the field, seemingly coming out of nowhere. And my pick is Tyler Bray. Bray never grew up at Tennessee, but yet, he has more pure potential and talent than any quarterback in this year’s draft. If things come together between the ears, Bray could be a hidden gem few saw coming. All the physical traits are there – big arm, height and presence in the pocket, but the intangibles are what are so bothersome. His attitude and leadership skills were never evident at Tennessee, and if he can somehow put them both together, look out."

so a blogger on an SEC fan website says Bray is a darkhorse

sounds objective

i think there is a reason 32 teams passed on him for 7 rounds

[Edited on April 28, 2013 at 12:13 PM. Reason : cause he's a knucklehead]

[Edited on April 28, 2013 at 12:15 PM. Reason : he also wrote that blog entry before the draft even started]

^^ of course he wrote it before it started. Weatherman: "it rained yesterday!"

And he's a Florida fan that always talks shit about TN. Some people can be objective and aren't just contrarians like you TT10.

Bill Williamson, who isn't an SEC blogger, said pretty much the same thing:
Quote :
"ESPNBoston reports the Chiefs signed Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray. He was perhaps the most coveted undrafted free agent. Many scouts thought he’d be drafted in the mid rounds.

The Chiefs have starter Alex Smith, but Bray is an intriguing developmental prospect for coach Andy Reid. If all goes well, he could develop into a starter.

Bray has a big arm, and was probably the most physically gifted quarterback in the class. But he has questionable mechanics, was a poor decision-maker, and his leadership was called into question. The Chiefs won’t ask much of Bray for the short term, but if he can improve his deficiencies, there is potential there, and the Chiefs are taking no risk. "

No one said he wasn't a knucklehead. Just said he was the most physically talented coming out this year. Now just needs to put his shit together and not be Jeff George or Ryan leaf. Of course, he wasnt picked #1 or #2 like them...

Here is a good summary for those of you actually intereted in information and analysis and aren't just giddy little bitches nutting yourself that you have a chance to "get back" at Bray because he destroyed your golden boy's Heisman/Thorpe/ top DB draft pick campaigns by throwing right at him all night last fall, which we all know is what is really going on here...

There is most definitely post Georgia Dome 2012 butthurt going on here, but lets leave it at that.

I like how he was "the most highly coveted free agent". It's like saying I have the most desirable penis in a room of full of vaginas. So desirable that these "enamored" teams were picking Wake Forest and Harvard fullbacks over him.

I agree he's talented, with more potential than Glennon, who I feel has close to zero chance of being a premier starter.

I agree, but i feel he and glennon could be leading their team to many grey cup championship games

Glennon has staying power as a back up. Bray is much more feast or famine.

^ I agree with that completely. Glennon reminds me a lot of Schaub. Solid to really good backup for a few years and then he might get a chance...

@Schottey: One scout just texted that his GM refuses to even consider Tyler Bray …called his whiteboard interview the worst he'd seen.

but if you have a really strong arm and the IQ of an orangutan, that makes you have the most potential and upside of any QB in the draft

a draft thats really weak when it comes to QBs

No one has said he is stupid... just that he hasnt put in the mental preparation time. Hell, he even admitted that to Gruden.
